Personally I'd prefer if the Predacons were deluxe sized and the Dinobots and Terrorcons were Voyagers. Much as I love the Marvel comics, I wouldn't reference them for scale. The Transformers always looked ridiculously large in them. I'm sure I'll pick them all up though. The Terrorcons look great. Despite the fact I already have the third party versions who are Voyagers, I'll definitely pick them up. Speaking of the Terrorcons, I hope Blot gets repainted as Blip.
Damn it! Guess I'm going to be spending money on the POTP line afterall.. One of these days, my wallet's going to kill me.
Here are some quick pics of my G1 Skylynx & CW Skylynx next to UW Devastator. Even if POTP Predaking is close in size to Devastator, looks like G1 Skylynx would still be too small to match against him. IMO.
I just hope hasbro learns from the mistakes that were made with Devastator. All 5 Predacons need elbows and individual weapons.
i am one of the few who would have preferred a smaller predaking for multiple reasons 1. the g1 predaking was perfect size to fit in with the rest of thee combiners better articulation and stronger attachment for the wings is all it needs 2. the dinobot combiner should have been the titan which would have solved most of its issues 3. skylynx is predakings nemesis and even in his lynxmaster form hes too small I understand those that collect masterpiece want him to fit into their collection but what happens if they ever make a masterpiece predaking?(which once they've done everyone else is a possibility) you get a better version and the classics collectors are out of luck. I really think with the titan class it should have been all or nothing with the combiners. that said I am looking forward to him and cant wait to see how he works and what takara does to plus him up.
Never had G1 Skylynx, but l found the upper Shuttle have at a flea market for 5 bucks once. Decent shape too. I donated it to a buddy for a custom
Has anyone thought to get the screen shot of when they had Prediking's wings held up to Volcanicus? We have a good idea how big Volcanicus is and we can use that to determine Predaking's wingspan. Once we know that we can determine how tall Predaking is based on the silhouette.
articulation should be fine, they're voyagers after all weapons I dunno, there's always 3P options I guess
Bigger than the current CW, I would then use this to replace my Feral Rex. But Titan Class like Devy, I'd consider just moving Preaking to my MP shelf like the UW Devy.
Not to keen on Predaking being the same size as CW Devastator...it's too oversized for me. As it stands, Feral Rex is still my CHUG Predaking.
I think there is a photo of just the wings with a piece of candy corn infront of it, if you base it off the size of the candy corn on your monitor. I think the wing span is like 12 inches.
/\...said no man ever. I'm just hoping Predaking is bigger than the standard CW combiners. He doesn't need to be Devastator-sized, not saying that wouldn't absolutely thrill me, but just bigger in general would be good.
It already been brought up in this thread, but based on the size of Divebomb's prototype wings there I highly doubt Predaking is going to be the size of Devastator. Razorclaw would need to be Leader class in order to accommodate four Voyager sized limbs and even at that I STILL don't think it would be the same size as Devastator. Personally I'd be fine with Predaking being a head or two taller than the standard combiners, that's just personal preference.
