Which upgrade? TDW or C+?

I'm really looking forward to getting the TDW Superion and Computron kits, which is why I'm looking at sprucing up Defensor as well.

 

Bought the Core Magnus upgrade kit.

How much for that upgrade magnus bot? Don't have a magnus but I like the upgrade bot

 

Got all the CW stuff I had out to have a play.

CW was such a lot of fun when it was happening and it was seeing all the wave one deluxes and voyagers in Jenners in Edinburgh that finally convinced me to go the whole hog on buying Generations. And great as it is having the 'special teams' in updated form, so many of the figures are left wanting. having seen the first few waves of PotP it looks like they've updated the systems a bit. I'm cautiously optimistic that it'll be a big improvement. Have to wait until I see it in hand, obviously!

 

I paid about 70 Singapore dollars USD$51?

The TDW.
I'm not EVER going to get the C+. It's more expensive and ONLY looks good in combined mode. The other modes look horrible.
Once i have the TDW it's still going to need some customizing. But its much cheaper (and more fun) In the long run.

 

I got them off eBay, the seller had the weirdest title for them too. I said tan and green it's more like tan and brown. I haven't put them together in vehicle mode yet but I think it'd be cool to put some kind of tiger stripe or camo decals on them as well as some unit numbers and signage but I know when I'll ever get around to that.

Anyone else found some cool big guns for these guys? this is from one of those huge gundam zaku kits. I'm thinking of giving him a shemaghe or cloak kind of like dotm megatron.

I know a lot of people really disliked CW Optimus (pin head, monkey arms) but he's a great IDW Prime for me. Scale wise he's just the ticket and I actually think he really captures the look of the IDW Prime (or the IDW Prime is in line with the toy, most probably). He also does just enough to distinguish himself from Motormaster.
Smokescreen was nothing but a compromise. I've got the old Classics Prowl and Bluestreak and I felt I needed a bit of Datsun diversity.

 

Well... at least until Liokaiser shows up in Unite Warriors

I almost bought g2 superion. I was all about a $50 deal but $83 shipped, while still cheap, is still not cheap enough.

 

Oh, also, my son needs a limb. Doesn't matter who but he'd prefer an autobot. I think he'd be happy with a double just to finish the combiner. I'm letting him use who ever of mine until we come up with another but thought I'd ask here jic.

 

AND do we know if they ever ended up koing the pe chest and head sets or was that scraped?
