I'm a big fan of Titans Return Seaspray, except for one thing- Visible Head Syndrome. My answer was to use a Revoltech joint, cut down one side, melt it with a cigarette lighter and make one side into a mushroom peg. Then I cut off the neck peg from the figure and cut a slot in its place. The revoltech joint was mounted to a custom bracket under the neck that I made out of styrene. I glued it in place with Krazy glue. I needed to scrape down the edge of the plate where the heads sits and cut away the rear deck, under the props, so his head can fold away. The head can now flip all the way down into the hole or sit flush with the rear deck. I prefer the former. Surprisingly, I can still fit a Titanmaster in there as long as I don't flip the head down. I've been planning this mod since I got Seaspray home, but I've been having a hard time finding time. I'm pretty pleased with it. What do you think?
I knew this mod was coming, but I was expecting the first person to do it to make it a "trap door" joint that flips it in. This works pretty well too, though.
Thanks! Thanks! At first, I tried a more traditional hinge, but there isn't too much room in there. A trap door would look a lot cleaner. If I added anything, I might try to make a flap that closes up the hole in the deck.
