I WAS honestly super excited for these until I saw that the prices were getting hiked up to TLK levels. It was finally nice to see TR Twintwist on Amazon for sub $10, and I felt like I was getting spoiled. Those figs look great, but I'm disgusted with the prices, especially since there's no obvious quality improvement.

I imagine Takara, with their reimagining/continuation comics will upgrade the Dinoforce inner robots into Prime Masters, and make their pretender shells their new, transforming main robot modes, with the Prime Master gimmick homaging the original Pretender gimmick.

The Voyager and leader prices were hiked to TLK levels back at SDCC. It had appeared the deluxes we're spared, but I guess it was just a typo.

Cool! I actually think they turned out better than the Dinobots. Definitely picking these guys up. Can't wait to see the Predacons.

i just noticed the price.. so we\'ve said goodbye to the $15 deluxe. $20 now the standard. if quality had improved or stayed the same from several years ago, i wouldnt mind. but after so many issues recently with titans return and the last knight, this just really bothers me. they just keep wanting more and more, for a cheaper poorly made product.

Are you sure those prices aren't just for stores like Toys R Us? Because the TLK figures at my local Wal Mart were priced like they were before TLK line came into the picture. So I don't see a reason why this shouldn't be the same for POTP.

I'm really looking forward to getting these guys even though they'll probably cost more here as well. Just gonna have to be careful with what other Transformers I buy from now on...

I imagine the Autobot ranks will be filled out by the Elita-1 combiner and one (or two) Autobot car combiner(s). Magnaboss, et al. would be cool, though (Magmatron!!).

So those $30 TLK deluxes I'm seeing in Canada are going to be standard now?

    ...

all the more reason to stick to Takara releases I guess.

...i could be seeing things, but it looks like the legitimately new molds (not retools) are backtracking visibly-hollow limb syndrome somewhat?..

    ...might be an improvement...

Regardless of the price Walmart and Target has been selling these for, the MSRP for deluxe has been $16.99 for at least a year now. Which is where TRU has been getting their prices (except when they jack them up even more...)

I could see takara repainting the Dinobots being repainted into the dinoforce shells. And maybe include prime masters as the inner boots.

You know, the only United Warriors set I got the first time around was Baldigus. But if the delta between US and Takara drops from $45 to $25 (assuming no increase on Takara Legends/UW) then I'll be picking these up with a lot more paint!

These look really nice, but the price hike and the fact I can already see how a bunch of them transform has me a bit worried... :/

I think the reason hun-grrr has small front legs and grimlock has nubs for feet is because you'll be able to attach the combiner feet to beef them out. Volcanicus combiner feet look like t-rex feet to me.

I hope the majority of fans will eventually be able to purchase grotesque. He looks nice. It would be unfortunate if Hasbro decided to start releasing certain characters like 3A.

OH CHIPS AHOY! FORGET PREDAKING! ABOMINUS WILL BE VOLCANICUS'S RIVAL NOW! (sorry Computron. You've been replaced for now)
I am so excited to get them but damn really? I hope they fixed the ratchets with that Silverbolt remold on Hun-Gurr. Jeezus they were bad, especially on Menasor and the first CW Optimus Prime. Out of all of these, Rippersnapper looks the best. I can't really say who looks worst since I like them all but I guess Sinnertwin since he's pretty bland in color.

Again, what's with these fucking prices? I thought we were done with this shit. Seriously, TLK was NOTHING of "Premier Edition" that was advertised like come on. I hope Target continues to charge the Generation line for $16.99. I'm really going to have a bad time at Walmart if they're the only ones going to do the whole $16 pricing.

It's been a while since I've been genuinely excited for Hasbro Transformers. Hoo boy, do the Terrorcons look amazing. And judging by the mid transformation shots of Hun-grrr (or however that's spelt), the combine mode is going to be just as good.
But that price... Ergh. Really hurts, that does.
