Just got my shipping notice for Grotusque

 

And here I thought I made out well getting Arcee this morning from TRU. Now this comes out of nowhere and I completely missed it. I guess it's back to TRU.com in a month or so for this.

 

Then what am I doing on this ledge....cool, thanks for heads up. Uh oh new Windcharger mold incoming (and it's badaasss), I'm outta here.

This was a good morning. Used my TRU coupon and grabbed Arcee for $20 + shipping, used a 20% coupon on Grotusque and got him for $26 shipped.

 

Convobat absolutely counts as he is a different character. The regional variants of the same characters are just that.

Yeah.. there's quite a bit that hasn't been retooled or repainted yet, yet we have one that have been done four or more times.

However, for full size deluxe or larger molds, we haven't had repaints or retoolings of Weirdwolf, Perceptor, or Galvatron. Though I'm not sure where people stand on the Scourge/Highbrow/Windblade figure when it comes to whether they count as retools or not.

I disagree about Convobat because he's a Takara Japanese figure and they're basically all remolds/repaints.

 

It's a good thing I only sort of wanted this, because now I'll never have it. 25 was too much anyway.

 

This post really needs to be updated with a "sorry out of stock suckers" in red somewhere.

 

If it's like Arcee he should be easy to get. Arcee has been available and is still for Preorder at TRU. Anyone who wanted her can get her.

 

I need this guy !, like , BADLY  _        MONSTERBOTS were the best growing up... I can even over look the reuse of doublecross ... But the rest is str8 up Adonus sexy to me .

 

Now that is a character I'd call his alt grotusque. I like Fans Hobby's take on him, but his was almost cute in a walrusy kinda way. THis thing (admittedly most likely mistransformed) looks malformed.

 

If I'd known this was going to pop up today I might've stayed home and watched for it instead of running errands. But instead I get home half an hour ago and see it just come & gone. Oh well, its not super vital to me like getting Arcee was, I can wait a bit on this. Would it really kill them to make a TR Cyclonus to basically wrap up the season 3/4 major Decepticons released in this line....
