I would love a Leader class Scorponok and Fortress Maximus, plus the obligatory repaints, Black Zarak and Grand Maximus. They would work great as Leader class figures because they both have a robot mode, alt mode, and base mode. Scorponok even has a helmet that covers the Headmaster figure.

 

I swear we go through this every single time because there's always butthurt about exclusives.

Making these figures exclusives is probably the only way they'd ever see the light of day. Exclusives are an outlet for Hasbro to release figures that regular retail stores aren't likely to provide to consumers at a broad spectrum.

So feel lucky that they even exist at all.

 

Takara will probably do their version of this mold.

Remold of Twinferno

You know, that being said, is Hotrod the only figure from the line that hasn't had a remold/repaint made yet? I would love to have a remold of that toy, I think it looks pretty good and could have been a cool generic space car for some other characters.

 

The following haven't had remold/repaints:

Mindwipe (There was Bat Optimus Primal but that wasn't a mainline release and it was also a Japanese figure where they're all technically remold/repaints)

Weirdwolf

Re: Rodimus, I actually wish things had gone a little differently in terms of Titans Return mold re-use. I feel like it might have worked out better if Chromedome had been a retool of Rodimus instead of getting the mold he had. He and Rodimus both have hood chests, I think the transformation would have worked nicely for a shared mold. And then the mold that was used for Chromedome/Getaway could have been given slightly different molding and been used as Nightbeat and Minerva, whose "chest plate" designs might suit it better. Ah well... I like the figures we got fine, I just daydream about how they could have been handled differently.

Similarly, I wish Squeezeplay/Crashbash had been a Repugnus remold instead of the little T-Rex. That T-Rex could have been Snapdragon instead, to match Apeface. Ahhh well....

 

Also Galvatron and Perceptor.
