That's true. That was 3 or 4 years ago, and Brawn was reworked for TR. We can't rule out a future WreckGar figure with a different gimmick, such as the PoTP gimmick. That doesn't fit in with the line though, unlike how Brainstorm was a crucial part to the deluxe classic Headmasters collection. So far, all we've seen are the S2 Fembots, Terrorcons, and some more 84 - 85 deluxe Autobots. Like I mentioned before, WreckGar doesn't fit in with those groups, unlike Brainstorm for TR.

All I'm saying is that all the Titan Masters from the cereal box are accounted for. Which means that Walgreens Wreck-Garr is not a TR mold or he come with an unnamed Titan Master. As other have pointed out there is no TR mold that fits Wreck-Garr so the most likely thing is that he's not a TR mold. Repainting a CW mold makes sense with Power of the Prime coming with it's CW compatible deluxe and voyager toys.

It's hard to even identify a good TR mold for a reformatted Wreck-gar. Kup would kind of work as a vague homage to Animated WG (it'd work better if there was a secret Kup retool out there), but he was just used for an exclusive*. Twin Twist as a junkyard excavation vehicle? It's harder and harder to think it'll be anything other than a Groove/Afterburner figure

*That is not prohibitive (e.g. Brainstorm/Nautica/Arcee), but not super common, either

That is always a possibility but to me seems unlikely. Right now I think a CW or Movie retool is the most likely thing but with all the movie "exclusive" shenanigans going on...

 

People are so fucking hung up on the motorcycle part. Everyone forgets that Animated Wreck-Gar was a garbage truck. They could do a Daytrader-inspired design from Kup easily.

Walgreens employees have posted screenshots of the computer listing in this very thread. All it says is "wreck gar" and a price, no other info

Nothing more can come from the Walgreens computers. They aren't internet listings with pics or anything, its literally just a UPC, Price, Name, and a few other things.

 

I know there's not going to be an image, but they could have a release date or a time frame of when it'll be out. They had that when I was looking for Brainstorm.

 

Personally, I don't think RTS/United Wreck Gar and all of his Junkion variations even needs an update.

 

I agree that they don't need an update but it if is a CW or PotP Wrek-Gar I'm fine with adding him to my small band of Junkions.

 

I want a new wreckgar simply so I can take my current wreckgar and give him the upgrade kit i got and then I’ll only need one junkheap for the other upgrade kit
