I'm still getting it, begrudgingly, even though I know it's a bit overpriced. If they keep this pricing up, they'll start to see their designs getting stolen and their stuff KOed more and more, e.g. MFT.

 

That bugged me too. It's the same translucent purple used throughout the combined mode kibble. I'll be painting mine red.

He’s just a favourite, just like how I preordered UT onslaught even though I will get Zeta and how I got cw onslaught even though I got UW bruticus. And how I will get the new cw onslaught upgrade or the iron factory onslaught. I’m also trying to get my hands on the KO onslaught from warbotron.

 

Contrary to what Iron Magnus says, it's not just you. I think they're on the big side too. Although that's the way they often looked in the cartoon, I'd still prefer something a little more squinty and menacing (and red!). Bigger eyes often come off to me as "cute."

Still, it's a bit of a nit pick really and I'm stoked to the bone for the set. Do you guys think the whole shebang will be released before Christmas? I like to get started early on my X-mas list, you see. (Strictly as a courtesy to Santa, of course!)

 

I think that's a real possibility. Brawl and Swindle seems ready for retailers, so even at a set a month we should be good for the holidays.

 

For folks who are on the fence about this set due to price concerns, there are reputable sellers on eBay who are listing this for $60.00 shipped. That doesn't seem crazy to me, about the price of an MP minibot. And I'll tell you, I think my IF figures are higher quality on average than most MP minibots I've purchased. I had $10 in eBay Bucks available so I got my Brawl & Swindle for $50.00 shipped. Assuming I can get the others at $60.00 shipped, that puts the whole set at $170.00, which isn't cheap but doesn't seem too bad, either.

 

Don't assume. Just get the whole set for $160 here, no guessing involved.
