I always thought Megatron's TLK look is somewhat Demonic looking so I wanted to role with it. This is the oversized KO. The glyphs are engraved, I reworked the helmet and started with a dark metallic red base coat with gold and red details to finish it off. The similarities to the other toys were unintentional but I thought I'd show them together with crappy lighting. Thanks for looking!

Nice! I'm getting a bit of the battle armor from Bram Stoker's Dracula there.

Thanks guys. I was going for a Samurai / Kabuki feel with it. I'm glad you guys noticed. I am pretty proud of this one.

While I'll mirror everyone else and say that this is some brilliant work (and something that makes me want that figure even more), I actually notice a similarity between this look and Razer from Green Lantern. (Especially the "rage mode" version)

Regardless of that, it is definitely a really impressive look for TLK Megatron, Great work!

Hot damn this is good. I don't even like this figure all that much (love the alt mode) so that should tell you how much I like the paint job and reworking. I saw the head pic before the thread title so I thought it was a warrior style IDW Rodimus before seeing it was Megatron.

Imo, this color scheme would've been aces for Megatron in the movie.

This mold simply can do no wrong. It's been repainted into so many amazing and different characters and I'd be happy with all of them.

Looks sort of like a combination between bludgeon and flame.
