ya I ordered a Transformers figure off of Amazon a few days ago, impatiently waiting for it

 

What's the deal with USPS email alerts?? Before I would get an email for each new update regarding the journey of my package. Now they have a new interface and when I sign up for alerts, I only get alerted a day or two before final delivery but nothing before that. BTW I have all the notification options selected. Has anyone else experienced this recently?

 

I remember the days when post from Taiwan didn't take a month. *grumble*

 

YOu know what sucks WORSE than waiting for a package? Not having any packages incoming to look forward too! I am back in the mode of pricing and searching online for the very best deal both money and figures to compliment what I already have - wise. It will likely be a while before I get to order anything else.

 

Well, saving some $$ and taking more time to buy something with giving the possible result of getting more in the end? I do it all the time  

It sucks when you read: "I got that today, I got the other thing" From a lot of people BUT: Who is having 3 figures in a row on a fraction of their cost? Me.

I guess what I am trying to say is: It might suck now, but when you spend your money wisely, you gain more and it rocks!

Got on that's supposed to be in tomorrow but it's that "smart" post and has been handed off to usps but gives you no usps tracking number.

I wish everything would just use usps if it's ultimately going to go to them.

 

Yep, plus when I got all 16 figures in that haul and found the Misfire wave AND found Nitro all over the course of a few days I STILL haunt caught up yet on playing each character through an introduction to the collection, fully given each new addition the attention and thorough shake down of features and interaction with my other toys I usually go through. I like to appreciate and enjoy each purchase extensively before moving to the next usually, that last haul was just a good way to get some stuff I wanted to take my collection in THIS direction, made to much sense money wise to do any other way.

Cmon cmon cmon...

 

I have 3 different packages going to two different addresses(US .mil, overseas). If my recent ebay scam purchase turns out to be real then that's 5.

The two that are coming to where I am, (I think one is here), I can't get because I'm busy in a third location for another week lol.
That makes it frustrating because I can't even be there to check if it arrived or when it does.

That also brings up my distaste of the USPS tracking when it isn't updated by location. Seems to get no updates until the day of or after delivery a lot of times.

 

Is there some kind of universal tracking bugaboo right now? I have four packages coming, all shipped at different times over the last two weeks, each coming from different origins (Japan, Taiwan, China, US) and the tracking doesn't work for any of them. One is even from HLJ using EMS and the tracking hasn't updated since it left them 11 days ago, which is especially peculiar for EMS from HLJ - something that usually arrives 3 days after they ship it.

I'm a patient man and I don't generally worry about shipping irregularities, and I'm not worried now, but I do find it a little WTF?

Also, my package from Taiwan using DHL Global has "HKSPYGADGE" preceding the number...has anyone seen a tracking number like that before?

 

That's odd.

When I order from Japan, using EMS, it always accurately tracks with the Japan Post site, even when it is moving around domestically after it lands in-country.

I haven't used DHL in a long time, so I cannot vouch for the numbering system.

If you've used a CC or PayPal you have options if it doesn't arrive.

 

Two of the four arrived today as I was watching The Last Knight. One of the two is Cogman and the postman rang the buzzer at the exact moment Cogman appeared on the screen. Gotta love how the universe works sometimes.  

 

So I had two packages coming today, Grotesque and a KO MP Inferno. Inferno got returned to the seller in China due to incomplete address (after making it all the way to my post office and then being marked out for delivery...), and NYCC Grotesque, that I accidentally shipped to work, shows that it couldn't be delivered, even though my work is open 24/7... So I'm a little miffed at the moment...

 

Arrrgh?

 

My kid reminded me it was columbus day tomorrow. Crap! I have trade packages to send off.
