I'm not sure you get where I'm coming from. MMC abandoned the DJD line to do a bunch of characters Hasbro and Funpub already did. I don't need a Roadbuster, Whirl, Strika, Obsidian, Hot Rod, Bulkhead, Megatron, etc. Hasbro and Funpub took care of all those. Give me characters I don't have like a complete set of all 5 DJD members. After investing $300, its messed up they just cancelled the DJD line to do BS figures.

...i did not know that and thought they were knocking off FT design work; i appreciate the clarification!..
...i expect the DJD are still coming one-by-one, but this season is the pet’s turn to shine...

No worries! There's an insane amount of products out there now. Not easy to keep track of, especially if you don't focus solely on third party :lol

MT Highbrow and Brainstorm are the stand outs for me, at last!!

My Trailbreaker was a mess. Bits fused, other bits falling off. Mirage had niggles but admittedly is probably their best release, my Ravage was assembled wrong and had a fused neck. I've seen ppl getting their Fusos with missing parts and needing entirely new hip sections and their birds are getting mixed responses.

Their MP releases are by far the worst for QC issues imo and the fact they're doing a combiner is concerning. I'm content with mixing and matching Zeta and UT.

It's safe to assume that it's a matter of testing the success of these from going further down the chain of
Not sure where you're coming from, MMC remaster series didnt start as a DJD line so it didn't cancel or change

And you are getting 113, seems like they are still doing your team mate.

    Oh, the mp stuff.
    That doesn't count.
MMC's good stuff is the reformatted line

Not a lot to see but there were some nice reveals from Planet X and MakeToys, and some interesting reveals from MMC.
I'm really not sold on the idea of the non-partsforming Bruticus though. I have a hard time believing that they'll pull it off well. It also sucks that they seem to have ditched Defensor for Bruticus, at least for the time being (that is to say, I'm sure Defensor is still coming but it seems that Bruticus is now their priority). I think I'll stick with Unique Toys though.

I also don't really like MAAS Toys' G2 figures. They look kinda naff. I like the idea of making them but... Eh.

Speaking of crappy things, Rising Force should really pull the plug on that Motormaster. It hasn't got any better (though those look like the same photos we saw recently anyway).

I really hope that KFC's Octane turns out well because that's the one I'm most interested in here. He looks fantastic, and I hope the quality follows through. Other than that... MakeToys Galaxy Force stuff, more Headmasters and such... those are all nice. Planet X has some awesome figures on the way too but I'm not sure I'll ever have the room and money to start an FOC collection. Maybe one day!

My complaints about MMC aside, they're still doing the DJD. The Pet and Mors/Helex were shown off recently.

Also, I find it funny that you complain about Strika and Obsidian (among others), as if they've had a ton of toys so far.

I spotted an image on facebook of a new 3rd party G.I.Joe rolling thunder bot in the Tfcon displays as well. Who was doing that? I tried to find the images now, but the post was taken down and I cant find the images again.

Were the images of it not suppossed to get out online yet??

Anyone have more information? Was scale was it in? Who was making it?

While I agree with you [on the reformatted line being their best line], the MP stuff's quality -does- count if the combiner is coming out in that line.

So many new interesting figures are coming. I kind of miss the days before TV commercials, conventions and the internet. The days I'd wake up and take the horse and buggy down to Toy Trader and barter on whatever TF was in stock. Nowadays, I know EVERYTHING I will buy TWO years out. It's like I have no choices or free will. My life is prewritten and I get a preview of it at every TF convention. :)

The dealer room is open all day and they usually add a few more surprises to the 3P display cases
