I went by Bridgeton Target around 8:30 and they were out. I drove across the street to the Best Buy that didn't open until 10am. No line...a Best Buy employee walked out and handed me a line ticket and said as long as I came back by 1pm, I was guaranteed a unit. Went back right before opening, walked in and went to the register, had my SNES classic in about 5 minutes all said and done. Makes up slightly for the NES mini debacle last year, I never got one of those but I wanted this way more.
On this side there were lines before stores opened. I got to target at 8:10 and people were walking out with bags of SNES. Some had multiples of course. I been calling around and everyone is sold out over here. Maybe they will pop up online.
Depends on how you look at it. Some of us wanted (and still want) NES-C and have no interest whatsoever in an SNES-C.
Well, first of all, you're a crazy person because some of the games on the SNES are among the best console games ever made. Secondly, this should please you. Nintendo bringing back NES Classic Edition in 2018
I found a snes c at vintage stock. I am one of those who is a bigger fan of nes titles than snes. I think the snes is a superior console but I have more nes games I hold dear. I already have a famicom mini and still have an og nes so I am good on that front.
Not over here. I am still hoping to find a ramhorn or two. Our pegs are full of older wave titan masters.
Haven't found Overlord yet. AJ's had some but I didn't pull the trigger in time before he left for TFCon. I gave in tonight in a moment of stress and bought Sky Shadow to tide me over. I want Overlord more but I honestly think Sky Shadow has the better deco of the two. I believe Ramhorn has only been found at Meijer. If anything he might pop up at discount retailers later in the winter, but otherwise I suspect overseas or Canada will be the only means to find him.
Don't forget the recent news that indicates the likelihood of an all Ramhorn case making it's way to stores soon!
I wonder if EE will be the only one that gets them. I might go ahead and preorder a couple from them because I'll spend more than that in gas trying to hunt them down.
back from TFCON and I hit my motherland. I found an intact set of botcon 2006 futures past beast wars set (been looking for it for over a decade). I did see ramhorns and overlords but both were sold out by the time I got out of the exclusives line that was serpentined in front of the stand. Met AJ there and few friends online, saw a lot of wonderful figures (including MCC Wing and Deadlock figures and an amazing recolor of Feilong to look like TM2 Megatron), bought way too much art, but all around good time.
TFCON really is the best con for those who like to buy transformers (especially 3rd party). I liked it much better than botcon. I have a friend on the MMC crew, so I got to hang out with them some last year. As long as I am back in school, I can't make the long trips, that is why I want it back at Chicago.
We made it back early Monday morning from TFCon. We ended up driving straight through on a Thursday night into Friday and the same on the way home. Needless to say me, my friend, and my father were beat but all in all it was a great show! Ended up picking up a galaxy meteor and a masterpiece ramjet that Tfsource had on sale. Definitely came back lighter than when we went out. Last show for us for the year and nothing else going on till June for Pete's Robo Con.
Yeah we did great! We sold out of Overlord, most of Wave 03 Movie figures, and the little bit of 3P I had left.
I'm pretty upset too. I love robots so much and it actually hurts my feelings when I can't find the ones I want.
