Maybe I am just a purist ( which I will admit is a fault of mine) but if we\'re going to get back into pretender shells, why not just pay tribute to what was released in the 80s (masterforce figures) just more current versions?

I understand a new fresh look is always good but, for me, I prefer the history of the generation 1 all the way to its end with Zone. I was fortunate to be able to collect these when they were released however, I know there are new collectors out there who appreciate those characters and stories and like some of us old school folks, would love to see them return with some modernization. 

I realize the MP line is taking care of that to some extent (thank you Takara for Star Saber) but by the time masterforce even is an idea, it will be the next century (sorry Takara). 

By no means am I knocking the ideas being generated by Hasbro for TR or Takara for Legends, I am just saying it would be nice to see the original characters and their stories come back in their true form (were they really headmasters in the show or powermasters in the shows?), colour scheme, etc.

$10 for legends
$20 for deluxe
$30 for voyager
$40-$50 for leader

 

Prime Masters are listed at 4.99
Legends are 9.99
Deluxes, it's uncertain if they'll be 14.99 or 19.99
Voyagers, same thing, could be 24.99 or 29.99
Leaders should be 49.99

 

There's a lot to look forward to there. I have shrapnel so I don't need him but the restvare must haves
