Yeah I can see the merit in some BW love. Honestly I hope they take this, tweak it a bit like they did with Tyrantron, and knock it out of the park. I wasn't going to pick up their reformatted Megs either but caved when I saw the later pictures. Could happen here as well I suppose, despite my Grimlock fatigue I suppose it's not like we're short of Megatron options either :)

I see what you did there with the name MMC, though it makes me wish the alt mode looked more like said abomination of nature (the horns etc).

I\'m still annoyed by how overdone 3P Dinobots have become - really it\'s beyond obnoxious at this point - but I\'m at least glad it\'s MMC since they\'ll at least give us something that looks different.

Seriously though, what's a guy gotta do to get a CHUG Scorn?

...the Voyager class Scorn isn't your style? That thing looks pretty boss, and I usually hate movie figs.

The AoE figure is a neat toy, but I agree with Astrus in that I'd like to see a 3P make a Scorn that could fit in better with CHUG stuff.

TLK Scorn is baller, and the second I see him actually available to buy either online or in store here in Ottawa I'll grab him without hesitation. Between being a Spinosaurus made of shrapnel and hatred and having a robot mode that is a Knight and also evokes Beast Wars, he's easily one of my favourite Transformers full stop.

But he doesn't fit the Generation 1/CHUG style, and I'd love one that did, especially since Slash got that treatment. That and you can never have enough Spinosaurus. (said the guy who doesn't own Cybertronian Undermine because of how fugly it is.)

No kidding. Undermine looks like an alligator lost a fight to a sailboat and was forced to carry it on his back as punishment.

That being said, this MMC Grimmy is... er. Well, I think it's kinda ugly. I never realized IDW Grim was so monstrous either. I use my PX Dinos as my IDW stand ins.

Looks liek a solid figure, but I\'m just not a fan of the IDW Dinobots\' designs.

Well, this is different.  Kinda wish the dino head did something so looking up without breaking sculpt, but it works.

Hey MMC, finish your DJD before doing toys of characters Hasbro does all the time anyway.

Disagree. Keep doing a wide range of different figures and don’t get stuck in a rut.

    Yep.

Additionally, that logic is faulty as this clearly is the remould of Megatron, which in theory, shouldn't be pulling many if any resources from other projects.

Ja. But I'm a picky eater. Like I wouldn't even touch a CW figure without painted wheel rims.

How could you tell? It hardly seems like they even share a base figure. Is it the broad chest?

There is a MMC Megatron picture just like this Grimlock one floating around and they appear to have same-ish hands, forearms, biceps, shoulders, thighs, and feet and over all size/silhouette. The picture of megatron is old, which makes me think this is an old picture and Grimlock has undergone some changes from this picture.

Just my deduction, I have no facts.
