I just hope all of the old english cast back. I would imagine it wouldn't be any sort of issue, but I've come to love that dub so much.

 

Super Metroid, I love this game. Its amazing, But and I don't care what anyone says, walljumping is an unintuitive pain in the ass, especially compared to the Mega Man X games and Ninja Gaiden 2 and 3.

 

I found the wall jumping to vary depending on the controller you are using. I can not do it for crap with the actual SNES controller (or one styled with it). If I am using the Wii U gamepad though, I have been able to wall jump without an issue.

 

I have trouble period regardless of what I'm using.

 

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age.

Got pretty deep into the PS2 original back when it was released.

Overall, it's fun. Definitely less difficult than before, The fast forward feature takes some tedium out of running back and forth across the continent and grinding. The battle system is fun as always. I would have been fully behind future FF games expanding on the pseudo-programming aspects of the Gambit system.

Story is kinda crap though. The political maneuverings between the nations of Ivalice are an interesting backdrop, but there's little in the way of compelling character development or social interactions going on in your party. At least so far.

Debating if I want to shoot for a Platinum on this one.

 

Super Metroid. Accidentally stumbled on a reserve tank, took down Crocomire and found the grapple beam, wave beam and x-ray vision thingy. Hooray! I'm finally done with Norfair! Hopefully.

 

The SUPER HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL hat came ripped, the ULTIMATE backpack is for babies, the box is serviceable at best, the headphones are cheap, the "art book" mainly features character renders and profiles you can just find online (and just seems like a hard cover edition of what already comes with the game), but holeeee shiet is the soundtrack dope af. Think this one is the whole shebang? Lots of tracks regardless.

Odin Sphere/Fate Extella this is not. I don't think it's worth the asking price if you're not a turbo fan but I'm happy with it. Think this quality is pretty typical of special editions at this price point so you already know it's mostly trash anyways ;p

I went through Gamestop in-store.
I haven't even started the campaign yet but I went to the dressing room and the graphics are so slick. Yagyu is so damn adorable.

I went Amazon because Prime members get 20% off, and I had a $5 off coupon on top of that, so I got it for a bit less than the standard digital version after tax.

It's gonna be such a weird transition. I've been playing these games on my 2DS and Vita, so going to PS4 will be...something.

 

I'm the opposite, all I have is Estival Versus, which the gameplay was amazing in. This is a lot like that, but better and feels so much more polished and refined in every way.

 

I imagine it helps that PBS was just made for PS4, while EV is, like, an upgraded Vita game. (If we keep talking about this, though, we'd best put it in PMs or whatever. Don't want to overrun the thread XP)

 

I'm still waiting for mine. It was Out for Delivery at ten this morning, but then suddenly Amazon updated saying that there's a delay in the transit. It's been that way for hours.

 

Ramjet is having the same issue. Sometimes that happens, usually as long as it reaches the local PO it will get to you the next day.
BTW, I worked at the Amazon warehouse and lets say I won't ever order from them again.

 

Amazon has just been bizarre with new video game stuff: Halo 5 got to me at, like, 6:30 PM or so when I pre-ordered that. But then when I got Persona 5 (PS3 copy), it got to me in the afternoon. Amiibo f!Corrin...whoo boy. Got to me a week late. It's weird.

I'm a huge fan of escape room games and different puzzle games. I often play such games with my friends on weekends. This week we're going to solve The Laboratory of Lost Species Escape Room game in LA. It will be my birthday soon and I decided to organize a little escape room birthday party there. Hope everything will be awesome as usual. As for me it's the best way to spend time with friends and have a lot of fun.
