Setting your location as.. you know... your actual location as opposed to your sock drawer would be a good start to stop people from assuming. I always check someone's location under their avatar to see where they're from when it comes to sightings or distribution woes. If you put something nonsensical, then you can't blame people for assuming US since that is likely the majority (more than half) of the board members.

Sorry if I sound grumpy. I'm ready for bed.

I probably didn't assume you were specifically in the US, because I am not. But since you seemed eager to order Hascon Arcee from hasbrotoystore, I assumed you were willing to pay whatever shipping this entailed.

Shipping her to Canada from Hasbro is around $30 - it's probably much worse to NZ, and unless Hasbro has a local fulfilment center (Hasbro HQ for Transformers is biking distance from where I am right now now, but HTS still ships from the US), it's unlikely to be much lower than, say, BBTS. The Combiner Hunters I named were available in the same place (HTS) as this Hascon Arcee, as well.

I understood your message as lamenting the fact that she'd gone out of stock ridiculously fast, which she did.

I think Takara has the Generations versisons on the list of upcoming Legends re-releases, you should keep an eye out for that.

I get what your saying, but there are people that just don't want to list their location for whatever reason. It's known we have members here on the board who aren't from the US, so saying it's automatically assumed the member is from the US is slightly nonsensical. If you don't know friggin ask the member. It sure as hell beats these circular arguments that keep happening on these boards from time to time from ever happening. Sorry if I sound grumpy or anything, having some problems with my laptop that have left me in a rather irritated mood.

No, sorry, it is entirely sensical.

If you can't bother with placing the proper location, don't complain when people guess wrong.

A further note. We're talking about a toy that was exclusive to a US-based convention. Also, distribution to locations outside the US has always been different than distribution within it. Items that are exclusives here are sometimes wide-release elsewhere, for example.

There are plenty of reasons to default to the US assumption on this board. If you're outside the US, you really just have to learn to accept that.

I get what you're saying and agree with you about US assumptions, but to be fair this specific argument isn't really valid anymore. Up until Prime or early Thrilling 30 you'd have been right, but since at least around the mid-point of Thrilling 30 US distribution (at least in physical stores) has gotten progressively worse and worse, to the point where if you find anything late wave in store (like say Arcee) you're probably not from the US and are more likely to be from the Hasbro Asia region like the Philippines or Australia. I would assume New Zealand is Hasbro Asia too, but I guess you guys get worse distribution, like anywhere that isn't California in the US? But as an example, I know at least one reviewer found Cogman in stores in Manilla, a figure that will likely never see physical store shelves in the US. That's a three year gap, so it wasn't quite as bad when T30 Arcee came out, but the likelihood of finding her was minimal.

So basically, saying you can't find a late/last wave figure in stores isn't really evidence towards where your location is.

Also, I realize I'm making an assumption here that the above argument was about the thrilling 30 Arcee and not the HasCon one, which is almost certainly the wrong assumption, but since the T30 one and how easy or not it was to get her was brought up, I wanted to point out the issues there anyways.

And no way of knowing if its HTS' or the carrier's fault.

But every package I get from them arrives damaged. Not from TRU, not from Amazon, not even Target or Walmart arrives in that condition. Additionally, HTS seems to have stopped using much packing material at all. There must have been three pieces of air packing. Three. Not three strips, but three individual air bags.

No shipping email and the fact that it doesn't show up on the withdrawal history of my bank app.

Every. E-Ver-Yyyy HTS order I get the product packaging is damanged. Just happened with Six Shot earlier this year.

Once it was so bad my CW Legends Hot Rod was falling out of the packaging. granted they sent me a replacement with better packaging but HTS really seems like a bump & dent outlet.

I always pay for cheap shipping so I dont usually expect a shipping notice at least not from HTS. I haven't got one yet either but I do see the $33 on my credit card still.

Is it "Pending" or no trace of anything? Sometimes it will sit in a "pending" status until they ship..

Just plug your order number into HTS' site and it'll say whether it's processing or canceled. Won't have to guess anymore, you'll have your answer.

It's still in my order history, and it says it's only been received.
