Not bad at all for what they are. They look like they'd make good gifts for a younger fan.

This is weird, 'cos in the Toy Industry, "Evergreen" means a toy, concept, or character that is nearly guaranteed to sell, no matter shifts in the industry.
It's very strange to see that term attributed to what, in all likelihood, looks to be just as "normal" and "temporary" a sub-line as all the other cheap-ish Transformers toys (even things like CW/TR come to an end...).

The idea that Hasbro are setting up for a series of low-cost, classic-figure-representing molds that could be kept in production for a genuinely indefinite amout of time is... fascinating, but, one imagines, would likely involve elbows...?

I was hoping with that really nice artwork we'd get something a little better, but oh well. Maybe they'll have larger scale figs, but I doubt it. :/

Normaly I don´t judge such figures that are meant for younger kids but in this case I have to say that even I saw and own legends-class figures that are far better than what we have got here. Even the wheels alone manage to look like they are from some cheap knock-off figures.
Makes the Cyberbattalion figures look like masterpieces in comparision to those figures.

They will definitely have larger scale figures. Hasbro seems to be setting these up as the next flagship designs for the characters; they're showing up on all kinds of merchandise and will probably be the designs in the upcoming animated series. It would make no sense not to give them a proper toyline.

I just hope they're a step up from the new RID stuff. A return to Animated/Prime-level quality might be optimisitic, but it would be nice if Hasbro started putting effort into the toys again, like they did for those shows.

These are clearly legion class. Just look at the size of the hook on the card.

If these are legion class figures then they are pretty cool,i just hope we get some pretty decent deluxe figures down the line.I mean looking at bumblebee,he seems almost identical, transformation wise,to the animated legends class bumblebee.

Surprised to see so much criticism for Legions that aren't really much worse than what we normally get.
If you want bad Legions, go look up the '07 Movie Legends. These little dudes look fine to me.
I would probably even buy them if the Legion Class wasn't priced so stupidly high where I look...

    I'm gonna buy 'em.
They look like decent Legion figures and acceptable custom fodder.

As far as we can tell, a low cost transformers subline aimed at discount retailers such as dollar general, family dollar etc, and possibly at the same foreign markets as the cyberverse toys.

I think they wanted a unified evergreen design as well as a cheap price point.
