So awesome. Love the new redesigned packaging as well on these new wave of IF figs.

Oops, you're right! I totally read his post wrong. Wonder if I let my wishful thinking subliminally erase that last letter when I read it :) .

As someone building a G1 Legends collection that is in love with this Bruticus despite it not being 100% on the G1 money, can I ask what about it puts your power converters to the off position? Genuinely curious, not looking to argue.
What'choo talkin bout, Willis Maximus? Are you saying War Giant's bits combine into an additional item like Warbotron's version?
Thank those dumb 5mm weapon ports for that.

DX9 is the only 3rd party making Legends class guys that stick with the more traditionally Legends class sized 3mm weapon handles. As a result, their figures look a lot less like the juvenile robots with small heads and huge hands that the Legends from Iron Factory, Mech Planet and Generation Toy do.

I posted the combined kibble at the top of the page. It's just a youtube shot but it's the best we have right now.

I also happen to love the huge 5mm hands. I hate the 3mm baby hands that DX9 gives all their bots. The DX9 dinobots look great until you see their tiny hands.

3mm hands work okay for legion and actual legends (commander) sizes... but as these 3P companies start to grow their figures more towards the scout size, 3mm start looking way too small. 5mm can also look a little big sometimes.. but I'd rather have that along with compatibility for most of the weapon accessories that are out there.

A voice of reason! Grievlocke paints with much too broad a brush. DX9 dinobot hands are definitely disproportionally small (one of the reasons I'm looking forward to the Mech Fan Toys versions), but this is hardly true as a general rule for their figures.

What we need is a new weapon handle standard... a tiered peg that goes from 5mm to 4mm to 3mm. Then transformers companies, both official and 3P, can make whatever size figures they want.. giving them 5mm, 4mm, or 3mm sized fists, as fits their scale, and any weapon can be held by any figure.

That is the crotch and perhaps the chestplate. There are still the feet remaining which have wheels on them...

I want to see what it is and what it makes. It is likely a trailer or perhaps trailer/shuttle platform.

I have their Brawl and Swindle in hand thanks to Iron Factory, Madhaus Toys, Toy Dojo, and A3U. The feet do seem to transform into something, I assumed some kind of vehicle trailer for Onslaught, but since I don't have any reference, I can't really figure it out other than the two feet have wheels that flip out and the two halves peg together. I'll have a review probably up tomorrow.

What do you mean you don't have a reference? Scroll up and look at the video screen grab.

That screen grab and video only show the front and barely anything else. No part of the foot is discernible. Thanks for the snarky comment though.... : /

3mm was great on the IF fembots but even then I would have loved 5mm hands because I just like the proportions of large forearms and hands. It's a personal aesthetic, I know, but I still just love that IF rolls with the big hands.

I can appreciate people wanting more scaled hands, DX9 does it well for the most part, save the Dinobots.
