Dragonzord's price-tag might not be too bad compared to SOC Megazord. That said, I sincerely hope they don't do Titanus. I cannot justify spending the price of the SOC Megazord just to round out the Dinozords. I practically did that already with the Legacy versions.

I was wondering if the Legacy Titanus would be compatible actually, have you tried standing SOC Daizyujin inside Titanus?

I've seen a reviewer pull that off actually, but the obvious problem is that the Ultimate Daizyujin chestpiece won't fit on SOC Daizuijin's chest.

Honestly, I'm hoping so but admittedly I purchased the Megazord with the hopes of forming Mega Dragonzord battle mode and THAT'S where I'm hoping it maintains good articulation! This is going to be pretty good, fingers crossed.

On it's own the Dragonzord is a much better standalone than Goldymarg. It's got that whole Samurai Mechagodzilla vibe going on.

I'm not talking about design - I want the Dragonzord to be a SOC that's worthy of purchase of its own merits, not because it's a Tyrannosaurus replacement/Megazord hat.

It probably will stand alone good. On the vintage and Legacy releases the strongest mode IMHO was it by itself. This SOC version appears to have the segmented pull-out articulated tail gimmick of the Legacy with more articulated arms. It'll probably pose as good as the recent Superminipla.

How are your hips on the spec??

No that's the soul spec Eva 01

actually I'm not sure wher that expansion in from

Found it, it's a 3rd party (dragon momoko) reproduction of the progressive arming tree set, which was originally meant to go with chogokin super evangelion

Sorry, it's the SPEC version. it's an "ok" figure. Looks amazing but the SPEC frame has gotten a bit loose.

The Weapons rack is the Dragon Momoko arming tree.

I actually bought the arming tree for that Eva Leonidas which shipped on the 4th and still isn't here. :-\ It's impressive, though. So wide that it doesn't even fit in a detolf.

Honestly, I'm looking forward to having a figure that actually scale with it, lol. If you look, the knives even are about as big as his arms.

I got my Baikanfu the other day.

In the past I've commented on the gummy appearance of Rom and Leina's face sculpts, but actually having them in hand makes me realize that they're so freakin' small so of course they never photograph well and look good when blown up to like 20x the size on a PC monitor!

I wish Bandai would remake their SOC Evangelion figures. The SPEC Line was just not for me. I didn't like how the armor was removable, as some of it would often come off while posing; particularly the leg and butt armor. Also the joints became a bit loose over time so I had to buy a stand for them.

It's kind of a shame too because they're pretty much the definitive version of the TV Evas - or more specifically, ones based on the slightly wonky, less "organic" designs.

I'm probably the only one here getting it, but just a heads up in case there is anyone else: the Action Toys/Fewture Daitetsujin 17 figure is out now so it should be shipping soon.
