Ah true. I'd've said Iguanus, but he was already in IDW BW.

 

Yeah, Reptillion is *kinda* a Beast Wars character because he was repainted from a Beast Wars toy, but new Universe characters don't tend to get counted when Beast Wars characters are thought of even though they are repaints of Beast Wars toys.

 

What about Depth Charge? He hasn't shown up in the comics has he?

 

How bout when Beast Megatron shows up, G1 Megatron turns into Optimus Primal naming himself after Prime in honor of him after being killed by Beast Megs and redeems himself that way when he was trying for a long time. Beast Megatron is a important character that shouldn't change his name.

 

Megatron, Inferno, Rampage, Silverbolt, Depth Charge, Tripredacus, Spittor, Buzzclaw, Snapper, Stiletto, Magmatron, Hellscream, and Max-B.

 

Each and everyone of characters from the Beast era should appear in the IDW-verse.

Cheetor and Dinobot have both already appeared as Eukarian tribal leaders (the Fur Walkers and Scale Walkers respectively). The first (and last) we saw of Rhinox was when Alpha Trion, Nova and Galvatron went to Onyx's fortress, and he was a lone guard. We have yet to find out what happened to him, but I'd say it's a fair bet that he was somehow changed into Tankor (probably against his will).

 

My answer a year ago probably would have been "none." On their own, in their own book set in their own future era, great. But I don't think they work particularly well in the present alongside the non-Beast characters. It's like a disco bass guitar player playing in a metal band. You can like both kinds of music, but it doesn't mean they fit well together.

But if Optimus Primal is going to appear, then yeah, all of them should become part of the cast. Prove me wrong and make it great.

 

That's why I mentioned the occasional cameo. Rhinox, Dinobot and Cheetor's appearances were little more than that. I guess I should have said I can live without more Cheetor. I'm okay with Cheetor just having a cameo. I would want to see Dinobot, but he does come off as a bit too much like Starscream at times.

 

How is Dinobot like Starscream? One is a raw, but honorable warrior who comes to see the error of his former associates. The other is a cowardly weasel.

 

u could introduce the process of spark merging and make tigertron and airazor into tigerhawk again

 

Silverbolt, but he might end up under a different name so he can be separated from the Aerialbot leader.

 

I dunno, maybe Skybolt? I don't think that name has been used before.
