Honestly, he's not bad after you take off most of his kibble. and he is WAY more dynamic than the voyager. Since he is based off concept art and not the final design, I decided to do whatever looked good while staying semi true to the film.

 

Wonderful work! I personally liked the concept more than the final design. He just looks so awesome!
Yours looks pretty close to this picture (below).

 

not bad!! still i prefer the voyager figure. if they had simply upscaled the voyager to a leader size, I'm sure A LOT of people would be happy.

I found the concepts a long time ago and saved them. They are pretty tricky to track down now.

 

Well now I feel compelled to repaint the figure again with concept accurate pain lol

 

We'll if it makes you feel better, I am now thinking I need to remold the Voyager Optimus Prime from TLK to look like the concept art...

 

I would just get the Leader if you liked the design, since among other things the scale is better and the figure can be more dynamic.

 

I never realized how good Optimus could look without those stupid new shoulder armor things.

 

I think they look pretty cool. Problem is that on this OP the shoulder armor is the top of the truck split in half and draped over his shoulder in an odd and annoying way
