Does anyone have any nice, hi-res, final, rear shots of Prime from the Movie? Like screencaps or anything? I feel like I've seen them in this thread, but all I can find are upper body or those early renders? Specifically looking for the color layout on the back of his thighs and back/underside of his forearms

Haha, the gray just ended up being far less garish in person.

I've currently implemented all of @Jarrod 's fixes except the face mod and reversing the roof hinges. It was still a pain to transform, but no more so than ROTF prime was the first time through.

I still prefer Hasbro, but I don't HATE it anymore.

My gosh they look good together!!!!!

Is bee a bit too tall? Yes. However, I see why they did it like they did, in person if bee had been any shorter he would have looked comically small next to prime. He honestly looks a little too small as it is.

Prime himself is also much better in hand. The depth that you can't really get from a photo makes him look a lot more in proportion.

First, you will need a hammer.
    Second, smash MPM Optimus.
    Third...no, that's all I got.

Great job. If I snag a Takara copy and it's not perfect can I send it to you for modification? I don't trust myself with this kind of work

Well that's sorta the point. Optimus' truck mode is quite a bit bigger than Bee's car mode. That means the bot modes should also have a huge size gap. I always thought it was kinda cool how tiny Bee looks compared to Optimus in the movies.

FYI for anybody wanting to do any painting on this guy: A good chunk of the gray parts on Prime are that slick, unpaintable plastic, including all the gray in the lower legs, the back of the thighs, the bottom/back half of the lower arm, and the back half of the biceps, plus the hands and other joints. On the TT, if you look reeeaaal close you can see the color difference, the unpaintable plastic has a slightly more gold/yellow tint to it.

A good primer will help, but it does lead to reason thats why the backs of the thighs and biceps aren't painted. And yes, I learned this because I'm on my second run painting some of those parts.....

Haha...but actually yeah, if you feel the cost to ship him to me and back is worth it.
