They tried to deliver and failed. You probably have a slip in the mailbox that grants you permission to pick it up next day. Same story with my HLJ MPM-3 order

    Yep, you're correct.

Man, what's the point of paying nearly 30 bucks if they aren't just going to deliver it? Now I have to go fetch it out of the post office tomorrow afternoon. Ridiculous.

Has anyone bought the prime star hands? If so, what do you think of them?

    Edit: If they're out.

Sometimes they have TakaraTomy send them a replacement figure or part for you too.

I'm dying to see that thing in vehicle mode. Though I imagine that would cause all manner of paint scraping.

Also, how does one tint clear plastic like that? It's beautiful and I want to do it to every Prime ever now :D

Multiple ways. You can add a bit of black paint to future and spray on using an airbrush. You can also use a paint brush but it is harder to get a perfect coat. You can buy legitimate tinting film at Wal-Mart or auto store. It's available in different tint grades. You do need to cut it to size and buy the applicator kit.

At least get an exacto blade. It's easier and safer.

And a butcher knife, a power drill, clothes iron, a circular saw, a bucket of wall paint, so on...

Really, the main problem is that while I can buy those toy supplies, our house don't really have a real place to store it, not to mention my table is mostly used for books & the computer rather than fixing toys, and then there are all of those gaps on the table. The mess would be hard to clean up.

So I'm just mostly here being jelly.

Tamiya also has some 'clear' acrylic paints. 'Clear Smoke' would get you that window tint.

Anyone know a good paint match for the red and blue used on the figure? If I do end up getting this guy, I'm gonna want to try and paint him up just a bit. I'll also have to try these mods, which is a very daunting task since I've never done any real modding before.
