You do realise that a SOC version of king J-der would have be over two feet tall to even begin scale With that line's gaogaigar.
How's the build quality of the kit? Any loose or ill fitting parts, overall plastic quality, or anything to look out for during assembly? I've had my eye on the kit since it was announced and I'm always a sucker for super robot model kits. Also your final battle damaged Gaogaigar looks good so far.
wait, the King J-Der is actually in a show accurate scale to the GGG? being way larger in size? but why the prototype kit images first shown made him inaccurately the same size as the GGG? that was strange.
Oh it's still not in scale - it's only about double the height of the SMP GGG when it would need to be more than triple.
huh, i guess it's the limitations of being a Minipla then? they can't make larger kits? despite the King J-Der as a whole does not have many components as the GGG which should have been taken advantage of.
Who said I'm waiting on a scaled version? But now that you mention it, SoC is testing out the 16"-20" waters with Combattler V.
Me too! This is something I ripped from the Brave Saga 2 Game, i have plenty of other images as well if interested. I really have to stop waiting ages to catch up on posts here lol....

I recently found this promotional video on YouTube and I thought it might be of some interest as it contains pre-production prototypes of the figures (for instance, a more Anime accurate King Exkaiser and a God Max with chromed head crest and drill bits).
Well they have it. Too bad it's $215. The King of Braves GaoGaiGar Super Mini-Pla King J-Der Exclusive I know it's P Bandai, but seriously. That's no excuse for a nearly 100% increase.
What am I missing about this set that makes it $215? I know it's big but cases of minipla go for less than $100
It's not $215. The original price is closer to $115, due to it being a Premium Bandai exclusive. BBTS just has a tendency to randomly jack up the price of things. It's absolutely not worth that much.
$115 is better but still seems a little high to me, perhaps I'm not as versed in the world of mini-pla.
Well keep in mind that this is a mini-pla that is 28cm tall. The sheer size is undoubtedly jacking up the price.
with people bickering with each other about the size of the Minipla King J-Der compared to GGG & his whole merchandise in general, seriously is there any official height on how big is he in universe? i thought the show had these data schematics display for every robot in each of the episodes eye-catches which i had a hard time trying to read them.
Hey guys. I'm looking to unload my SoC GGG. I'm hurting for money, and while I like this guy, he's just not really what I'm into as far as my action figures go. I have all the parts, the box, and instructions. No damage to the figure at all, he's practically mint. I'm hoping to get about $220 for it. I wanted to post here first before I turn to eBay.
