I could not resist when I saw this guy for only $25 (2 cents more) from TFS.

 

Awesome! This little Shockwave should be in every Legends collection. It's such a minor deviation from G1 that he fits just as well with DX9 & GT's as he does with Iron Factory's IDWish guys.

 

BBTS must not have gotten the memo on the lower price. Will buy this elsewhere.

Correct, Bridge Watcher is not supposed to have his hose like that.

I couldnt understand why they made him to keep the hose attached to his forearm in the gunmode. Because there is a convenient hole on the top of the gun already. The hose is just pushed in the forearm and you can simply just take it off. But the hole on the top of the gun is smaller than the hose end, gaaaaaah. The hole is there probably so you could plug a stand in it, but IF stands come with plugs of two sizes, so if the hole was bigger, it would still work with both, a stand and the hose. Or the hose could have had a smaller end. Oh well, rant over.

Anyhow, it bothered me, so I took a knife and did this:









Now the hose stays well in both spots.

 

I want MFT to OS that Skorpy.

Ooh, what cubes are those?

 

The green cubes are MP scale energon from GCIToys.com. They sell them in pink, purple, blue, and green.

The pink cubes are legends scale versions that you have to custom order from them. You can contact them through their website or send them a message about it on Facebook. They come in pink and purple, and they might do other colors too.

They are by far the best energon cubes I've seen. I still have the compressed versions from the KFC set, but I sold the others because they looked too dull. These practically glow, even under dim light.

@Tman978 did a great video review showing off what they look like under various light levels.

 

Thanks for the heads up on those energon cubes. I've contacted them about getting some legends scaled cubes.

Anyone have this pictured with Toyworld Constructor or Jinbao OS Bruticus? Would be keen to use this as a weapon accessory.

So who can wield the iron factory bridge watcher as a gun? Seems too big for iron factory bruticus.

Does it work for CW bruticus?

 

War Giant (IF Bruticus) can hold him.

It is big, but the handle is designed for his hand.

War Giant also comes with a smaller, gun-only mode Shocokwave for a better looking visual.

Their upcoming DJD combiner will have hands that are compatible with both of these Shockwaves.

 

I'm not sure about the CW one, but the Jinbao oversized Warbotron Bruticus can hold him.
