While looking around TRU in Chatham, I found the Dickie toys die cast cars and figures, pretty nice for the size and price. I got Bumblebee, Drift and Crosshairs. Optimus and Barricade weren't so good. But the back shows that there's also Hot Rod, which I don't think we'd seen form Dikie before. I'm guessing they'll be an exclusive like all the other Hot Rod toys, so it may not be easy to get hold of. They look better in person than the product pics shown a few months ago.

Thanks for the report! These are slowly becoming the items to chase down the most from The Last Knight line for me. What scale are these again? Wondering if one could hypothetically drill them and wheelswap them with Hot Wheels/Jada tires?

From what I can see on the packaging for the vehicles, I'm going to assume around Hot Wheels.

Noicerz. One more thing before I take my leave of absence from this thread:

Barricade's promo shot looks a little different than the initial images received of the figure.

    Refresher:

    Most recently reported shot:

The shoulders look different. He appears much more slimmer, and his legs look better on the promo art too. Here's hoping the figure will look more like it does in the shot with Hot Rod, but unfortunately chances are it's a prototype, and stock image is what we get /:

Yeah, you're right. The final versions are what's on the back of the card; the Optimus truck has the reduced red flames rather than the more extensive deco than n the previous stock pics.

Yeah 1/64 Hotwheels size. It's a shame about the wheels, but they're not too bad at this scale.

Well, I'm glad someone wants them. At my stores they're just shelf warmers. Not as bad as the wave 1s though.

I haven't seen them anywhere else tbh. Unless you're talking about the RID ones they did.

It's quite sad that only a few places have seen wave 2 deluxes and nothing beyond wave 1 for any of the other classes, including the simpler figures.

There were RID ones in B&M. That's probably what you're thinking of.

Just thought I'd show how detailed theses are:

    IMG_5002.JPG

The writing is so tiny it's barely legible, but it's there and accurate. They've done a good job on these, better than the Jada cars at this scale. In fact the only thing Jada does better is having the accurate wheels, though even those are unpainted at the smaller scale.

seems like hot rod is in 4 different scales, including one that doesn't look like it can transform, all say exclusive to asda on the box

Yeah there's deluxe, Legion, a one step 2 pack with Bumblebee and a remould of the Lockdown flip and change. I'll have to take a look and see if they've got anything new in my local store.
