Just got Cosmos and I have to say, this is one of my better Transformers figures! X-transbots did an amazing job on this one. I only have beachcomber and cosmos from them and I am super impressed. Now I might consider getting their stunticons, if they perform like this too!

 

Hope so, cant wait for their menasor.

 

Damn it! Told TCP to ship my Stash yesterday morning, which includes 2 Klaatus, and I still haven't heard anything back from them. Is it just me or have they been losing their awesomeness lately?

 

At least it will get to you quickly once it ships. They're close to you.

Edit: Did you have a BC Huff in your stash? I got an email from them saying they received Piper, but that Huff was held up in customs. Could be what's holding up your stash.

 

It's not just you. I've actually refrained from loading up anything into my stash because of some of the delays over there... Feels a bit too TFSourcey. Been actively searching for another retailer.

 

I like that non-hip skirt look too. Will be doing that once mine gets here from baba.

 

I have to admit I like him sans hip skirts as well. He always seemed a bit too leggy and removing that extra bit of yellow solves that.

Got XTB Klaatu yesterday! He's out of this world and it was love at first sight! He looks adorable and awesome with TW Wavebreak and DX9 Richthofen! Happy days in the sea, sky and space!

The squad of my favorite mini-bots (Cosmos, Powerglide, Seaspray and Warpath) is almost complete! Just need another 3P Warpath to round up the crew!

I have BadCube's Wardog and I love the big guy but i've decided to re-assign him with my Wreckers along with Brawny and Backland since they fit right in. Need another 3P Warpath in the right scale and simpler G1 aesthetic (with a less frustrating, more fun and intuitive transformation).

It's been lovely getting Richthofen and Klaatu in the same week! Looking forward to Huff and Piper next!

Attention articulated hand fans! Some of you may remember me discovering that KFC seeker hands worked on XTB Aegis. Well here we go again...





They even fold away for alt mode, as long as they are rotated into this configuration:



Yup, XTB's own Paean hands fit Klaatu perfectly. Sadly, Klaatu's stock hands are attached at the wrist via a screw through the palm, but once that screw is removed you get an exposed post, onto which Paean's hands will slot nicely. A bit of forward thinking and XTB could have simply designed Klaatu with a mushroom-peg hand attachment, but even with no actual anchor (just post in slot) these hands stay in place pretty well.

Now we just need @ibot to make those Paean hands available separately!

 

Mine came from Korea as well (Netclow) and there were no tracking updates between leaving Korea and showing up at my local post office. After that I never got the stadard "out for delivery" update and it didn't update until long after it was delivered. Something weird with Korean tracking numbers maybe? Anyway, I ordered the same time you did and mine came Monday so yours should arrive soon.

 

In the pictures the hand color seems to match pretty well, how does it look in hand? Same green or is there a noticeable variance?

 

It's a slight shade lighter, but the colour itself is a very close green.
