This is what I think about this

 

Is there a set of rules that something needs to follow to be good quality? No. Who's to say something is good or bad? Its all opinion.

 

Yes there is. Most prominent of all (since we are discussing about movies) it has to have a solid script that makes sense.Then you have things like actor's acting Characterization of characters and soundtrack. Those are but a handfull of things.

 

Now we go deeper into the rabbit hole. A solid script? That's an opinion. Why should one group of people get to decide what a solid script is? One that makes sense? Also opinion. Something that makes sense to one person might not make sense to another. An actors acting? Again, who gets to decide if its good or not? One person likes it, while another does not. That makes it opinion. Characterization and soundtrack are the same. It all boils down to what you personally like, which makes it opinion.

I believe there is very little that's not opinion of some sort or degree.

 

       What makes sense is an opinion? HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAAHA ok man ok....Yeah sure..........I am crying out of laughter here.

I have seen delusions but that takes the cake.

The Bay movies are bad. Real bad.

That being said, I really like a lot of the character designs.

I'm very curious to see an animated feature and some of the backstory from a completely different team approaching it. For those same reasons I am looking forward to the Bumblebee movie because Travis Knight is at the helm. Let's see what happens.

 

What if what happens is that the bayverse is cemented as the definitive version of transformers in public conscience and the hacks that made bayformers get to keep milking the cash cow for even more time? Curiosity has killed the cat 5 times already.

 

There is no definitive version of Transformers, unless by that you mean the one Hasbro is pushing the most at the time. And currently that's certainly not Bayverse.

 

Maybe there should finally be one. But certanly not the Bayverse, which has almost monopolized the franchise in the last 10 years.

 

Despite liking the movie verse, I agree with this.

I'm ready for something new, I would really like Transformers to get another shake up, and change things up again on a very drastic scale.

However like I mentioned previously this current team at Hasbro don't seem to be the ones to do it. As much as you don't want Bayverse to be the definitive version, I'm just as worried that we'll get this G1 rehash shoved down our throats for the next 10 years.

 

I can\'t wait to see what these guys will look like in the new style! It\'ll be nice to see the movie 1 cast again too; even nicer to have them interact with characters from the later movies!
