Meh I'll still call the combined Dinobots "The Beast" and I'll be buying two sets so I can have the separate Bots and the Combiner.

But LEGO Dimensions is in fact being discontinued after the PPG and TTG waves.

\"Elite tracker always finds her target.\"
This is a full sentence because it does contain a subject and a predicate.
It might not sound pretty, but it is technically correct.

Anyway, thanks for discussing this so soon! Looking forward to your discussion on the Optimus Primal stuff.

Got partway through the podcast so far, enjoying the discussion.

As to the Hascon reveals I am less hyped than after Titans Return but still excited over all. I was trying to figure out what exactly has me not as excited as Titans Return, and listening to the discussion helped me put my finger on it.

To me Power of the Primes looks like a nice remix/best hits from the last two lines, the Dinobots look like cool combiners, even if the waist seems like it will suffer from the same problems that Motormaster did (reusing voyager hips as combiner hips) and I won't be picking them up except for Slash as I already have the main five in figures I really like. The Prime Masters look cool and I will be grabbing all the little mans and womans I can. Voyager Starscream looks fine (buying to repaint), and Leader Optimus and Rodimus look fine (will likely buy the repaints/remolds). But we don't have the connectivity of play pattern between size classes that we had previously.

Combiner Wars had a play pattern of: Legends = Armor and weapons for Combiner, Deluxe = Limbs, Voyager = Torso, Leader didn't fit in very well
Titans Return nocked it out of the park: Titan Masters, Legends vehicles, Deluxe bodies, Voyager Bodies, Leader bases, Titan Bases just everying integrated so neatly
Now POTP takes a half step back, we have the (we think) the legends, deluxe, voyager pattern from before, and leaders hang out on their own but we have Prime Masters trying to tie everything together.

I wonder if any podcast fans (or the crew themselves if this is interesting enough to be a listener question) would have preferred a more integrated play pattern?

Maybe budget limitations at the size classes prevented this, but I think it would have been cool if all deluxes were quadruple changers: Alt mode, robot mode, and then the limb mode could also be just a chest mode (a block) without the hand or feet. This chest mode would have the same dimensions across all deluxes (like the limb modes need to) to allow any deluxe figure to fit in the chest of any leader figure. I really enjoyed swapping around limbs and heads and to me it would have been very cool to be able to prime up any of the lines deluxes. Maybe in addition to being Torsos the Voyagers could also be ripped apart and be extra armor for the leader figures. It's probably one of those things that couldn't have happened with the budget needed for the line.

Other than that the biggest bummer for me was the lack of announcement of any final wave Titans Return stuff of anything RID2015. Would have been nice to get a Longtooth to complete the Monsterbots, but maybe he'll get a POTP figure. And I'll admit I got hella salty listening to all the thought that went into the RID2015 character designs while looking at the gaping hole in my collection where CW like RID2015 Menasor should go.

I would have liked a shield or something that turned into a clamshell on PotP Optimus. I'd be all 'yeah, we got sunbow, masterpiece, and movie references in here; deal.'
I would like a sludge remold into paddles for the sake of extra limbs. Blue Swoop FTW! But still, mold reuse option.
Cloudburst: I like his back is a blob of tech. If the half gun he comes with does a decent head hide I'll still get enough to say it's becoming a gun. Sure, I'm still down with them. I still wish the body was a small legends to be poseable but still hide a titanmaster.

Honestly, if you're going for toy on toy battles, I prefer the Toy Soldiers method. I'd consider which has the best hand dexterity & chance to use/make a decent weapon.

One thing I noticed while looking at the new Leader Optimus, his trailer seems to transform very Ultra Magnus-esque.
So could this be a Minimus ambus to Ultra Magnus premold?
It would explain why they opted to use a faux chest over the real windshield, since it could be remolded without ruinning the truck mode.

On the subject of Funko Pops, Funko has yet to make any Farscape related products.

That'd be cool, I was thinking about what Funko Pop could make that would get into buying some, but I don't really think there is anything. Their style is not for me. I'm still a teeny tiny bit annoyed that I was gifted a Tali and Garrus Funko Pop for a birthday/anniversary/something a few years back, I don't like them but can't get rid of them without an explanation.

That may well be the ONLY way I break my unspoken vow not to purchase any. Fury Road ones nearly pushed my button (but they gave only one of the wives and no goddamn Slit!) but I would frelling lose my mind if I could get a Funko Scorpius.
