Don't know much about the Dino guy, but yay for Sue Blu!! As the voice of Arcee & Stormer (from Jem), her voice is very recognizable, but it's her work behind the scenes that is probably even more noteworthy. She's put together some of the best voice talent for multiple TF shows. I know she put together the casts for Beast Wars & Machines. That alone is awesome enough on its own. I think she may have been involved in Animated as well- not sure. But it was cool to hear her reprise her role for that show too. Big congrats to her!

im sorry but susan blu deserves better. her voice is that of THE most iconic fem-bot the universe has ever created. proves my theory that cheapness has become the standard of the entire operation at hasbro. so basically thanks for everything, here\'s two $15 dust collectors for ya. at least give her a shiny silver or gold version. c\'mon hasbro. and the dude, lorenzo. yes he may have built up the movie franchise, but he was just as influential in destroying it. this is not an induction ceremony, more like crisis management..

As for Lorenzo di Bonavantura, I have mixed feelings about him after the changes he made/attempted to the films, but...

Whatever your feelings on Lorenzo are we can all agree Su blu (who's been there since the G1 days!) deserved better then some small repaint while the other guy got two f**king masterpiece toys

 

I'm surprised they didn't give her like, one TR Arcee and one T30 Arcee.

 

Or a premium painted collection of all the deluxe arcee toys from her years at Hasbro. You know something memorable to commemorate her work as first female TF character.

 

Just don't give her the Botcon spider Arcee. That thing never shuts the fuck up.

But Lorenzo? Seriously, they induct this hack over someone like James Roberts, Corey Burton, Don Figueroa, David Kaye, Derrick J. Wyatt, or John Barber? Even Pat Lee, Bob Skir, Dan Didio, or Yuki Ohshima were far more deserving to be in the Hall of Fame than Bonnaventura.

 

"Hall of Fame" as in influential figures for the brand. Not "Hall of Fame" as in ONLY PEOPLE I THINK ARE GOOD

 

Well the films whether you like them or not helped the franchise survive in a long term sort of way so its warranted since bay already got an award. Not everyone who gets an award deserves it based on the person they are, but rather the accomplishments' they've achieved.

I was 14 when the first film can out so I won't pretend to be well versed in behind the scene going ons back then. That said, I remember the Don Murphy boards and waiting for news to come from it. 10 years already... Wow. I remember seeing the leaked art for Megatron and thinking how different it was.
