met Stan Bush at BotCon 2011, signed my 20th anniversary soundtrack CD and movie DVD box, but have always wanted to meet Susan Blu as well

Did Susan Blu voice Lady Jaye? I know that Lady Jaye was voiced by Mary McDonald-Lewis during the Sunbow GI Joe cartoon.

Regardless, Susan Blu has definitely done a lot of great voice work, and is a terrific guest to have at Botcon. I recall her previously saying that she had given Hasbro a hard time over the years for not doing an Arcee toy. So now she is finally at a convention, with a convention exclusive Arcee! Pretty cool.

Hmm, I could have sworn she did, Lady Jaye does sound a lot like Arcee and Stormer. My mistake then. Thanks for the correction. ^^'

No worries at all man. Susan Blu has done a LOT of great voice work, and has been on a lot of shows. It's funny, if one does some research into the voice actors for the 80's cartoons that many of us grew up on, one often finds that the same couple of voice actors were the ones doing all the work. It's not uncommon to have the same voice actors in several different cartoons. Frank Welker is probably the most prolific, but many others were on a lot of shows as well. It seems a bit different now - these days it seems that voice acting, at least for movies, is mostly done by movie stars.
