We have started getting in toys for Christmas, that is what goes on those high top shelves. We got in some large non transforming rescue bot figures so far. If anyone wants to have their stores check the WIC # for these guys is 985976. Stores can check inventory of other stores on the computer.

 

Central Wisconsin here. Just saw Prowl, Jetfire, Optimus and Bumblebee. Bought all but Bee. While taljibg with the store clerk, they gave me the impression that these are only seasonal, so grab them while you can.

Found Prowl and Bee here in the Eastern Panhandle of WV. I only bought Prowl.

The details on every surface not visible in car mode are lifted directly from the MP toy. He even has Datsun toes!

 

This morning I found Prime and Bee at one Walgreens and Prowl and Bee at another. Didn't see Jetfire.

So no one has sighted Starscream/Megatron yet? It would be nice to see those stateside

 

So, this didn't work for me. I needed the specific UPC to get any help. That 6 digit number covers all Transformers in the system. The guy had pages and pages of them in the computer with that number.

After all that, I found out that if your store has done a reset and their toy section has shrunk, not grown, chances are your store will not be carrying them. This is the Fall and Christmas reset. What you see is what you get.

So, larger cities, larger stores, better chance.

 

Is this worth picking up?

My bad I typo'd the #, fixed it now, it is 985976. It only has 6 UPCs linked to it. Also the toy reset shrinkage has a lot to do if the store is getting the remodeled beauty department. Usually our normal resets dont change department size.

 

Hmmm...wonder if the other 2 UPC's refer to Sideswipe/Shockwave or Megatron/Starscream/Grimlock. Sightings at Walgreens so far are of Jetfire/Prime/Prowl/Bumblebee. So if there are 6 UPC's, of the 5 remaining to be seen, 3 might not be accounted for.

I wonder which remaining 2 we are getting

Found Jetfire and Bumblebee in MA yesterday.

 

Cool. I didn't know Prime would show up too. That's the one I want to find the most. My son absolutely loves the Transformers Devastation game so he would love a G1 style Optimus Prime. And since most modern Transformers are too complicated for his taste, this is the perfect Optimus Prime for him. Now if we can also get Megatron and Starscream too.

 

Found two sets at the Mentor-On-The-Lake Walgreens and 4 at the Mentor Walgreens. (Same city, really, but they consider it a difference. I don't know why. Hoity toity, I guess.)
One set came home with me from the OTL store.

Prowl is incredible, why he wasn't turned into a Deluxe figure is beyond me. Optimus is quite good too, makes me hope we finally see that Megatron, because it looks like a REALLY good figure. Jetfire's meh and Bumblebee is AWFUL.
I think I'll be returning at least some of these. It's one thing to see them online, it's another to have them in hand and experience utter failure. Prowl, though, man...really good figure.

Is Prowl really that good? I don't have a Prowl in my collection, but he'd be way oversized for my collection. I suppose it'd be good for when I host kids. He's big and clunky and kids love police cars.
