Did anyone receive their MPM3 from tru.com yet? I did and have to say that I am shocked: he was in an appropriate sized package and there was even bubble wrap protecting the item! This is very unlike TRU based on my past experience - the products are usually shipped in giant, floppy boxes with no bubble wrap to protect them or shoved in an inappropriately small box. Curious to see how others who ordered mpm3 had theirs packaged...

 

Depends on who fills your order, and what time of year.

 

Insider info? Does type of shipping selected at checkout matter? I usually go with the free shipping but decided to go with standard shipping this time because i wasn't willing to wait a full week and am wondering if that has anything to do with it.

 

The last 2 MP transformers I ordered(2012 Optimus and the 2013 Soundwave)where packed very well.No dings or anything.So yeah it is a roll of the dice.

Possibly? I'm not 100% sure how they d it at eh Shipping centers, but when we fill orders at stores, the items for a few dozen orders are all brought up in carts. We then go through an order at a time and pull the items. The manager on duty usually determines things like how much packing material they want us to use. Generally tho closer it gets to December, the less is used, as there's simply not as much to go around.

 

So I received an email from TRU canceling my order for Movie Masterpiece Bumblebee without an explanation! Did anyone else get an email canceling their order?

 

Son of a bitch... Just got an email saying that TRU was cancelling my preordered Trypticon. Been sitting on this order for over a month and passed up numerous opportunities to purchase the big guy. Now I guess I'll order it from walmart. Buyer beware I guess...

So Toysrus.com briefly had Octane in stock... Thats probably the only way (and time) a place like Toys R Us would even sell the guy  

 

I had it at $127.50, so I already had it at a discount. Just time lost I guess...

 

I received the same email yesterday morning. I can't believe they blamed it on FTC rules. I even called prior and specifically asked them to NOT cancel it, but was told that "it was up to the warehouse and out of her control". What a crock of shite. That was my first and last transaction with TRU online. I think I'll wait until the holidays and buy 2 from Amazon at $100 each (hopefully!).
