Your raidchips is only linked to the stolen chips you always have a min chips won that doesn't come from yours. you lost 244 but he would have gained maybe more then 3000 plus medals. And sometimes you need a weak one to reach the medalcount just to spend your chips on something usefull.

You forge to increase rating and class advantage (biggest reason i think).
The stronger the bot you forge the more exp and items you get (like the shards for 1 tier higher).
To go to level 100 you need to use the same caracter and you can reach lv 75 with every lower tier.

 

OK, so got need to forge a ton of bots I guess. I've got one 4* bot and then mainly 2* bots on my regular team. I've now got some new 3* bots. They aren't as powerful as my 2* because I haven't upgraded them. Should I upgrade them then and forge my 2* guys? I forged all 6 of my one star guys for my 4* and only got 1 level up

 

I would keep your 2 star bots for now. They're incredibly useful in the arena battles. I like to do the Crystal bounty arena and rack up as many points as I can to get the 3 and 4 star bot crystals. Crystal bounty lets you use all your bots so I use my 1 and 2 stars to boost my multiplier and then use my 3 and 4 bots to get lots of points quickly. When it starts getting tough to maintain my multiplier, I'll pair two strong 3 star bots with a 1 star to give me a lower average so I can win at least two fighters and keep the multiplier.
That said, now that the Crystal bounty is about over and I've gotten all the prizes, I'm gonna forge all my 1 stars.

[Edit] ok, I just forged a few of my two star bots for the first time and found that they give you some 3 star bot crystal shards so I guess it is worth it. I still think they're more valuable in the arena though, at least in the short term.

 

Does that mean that in the arenas, they match the opponents levels to yours? I thought it just went higher with each match

 

Yes, your opponent in the arenas scales based on your team's level... To an extent. It always starts at three one star bots and gets stronger as your streak extends. You usually end up with about even-up battles at 2x and 2.5x and face opponent teams with higher CP than yours at 3.0x.

 

I don't see anyone else mentioning it, so in forging, I would consider the fact that the higher the level/rank of both bots being forged, the greater the enhancement. For example, forging with a rank3/level30 2* bot will give you mor Forge xp than a rank2/level11 2* bot. And a R4/L40 3* bot will get more xp from either than will a R3/L18 4* bot.

 

Forging is something I would have really welcomed in so many other games I've played. Most games, your beginner units quickly become obsolete and rot... But FTF runs events where I still use all of my bots. I think in this Crystal Bounty I used every bot I have at least once....

Only to really max them out. You need 19 bots to play everything weaker and more bots are great for streakbuilding in arena. Only forge what you can replace or never use.

It does until around the 12th streak after that you can get to 200 if you use your max bots and got the time and i if my guys are correct AI is good for at least 15

 

For a maxed 2*, the amount of shards u get from forging is 85+11*Sig level. So at sig100 u get 1185 3* shards

I would be happy to spend more money on this game, if they would guarantee me the g1 guys I dont have already. I tried spending money on this game twice, and I got stuck with crap movie guys who I just forged to get rid of.

 

This game doesn't even allow me to try and play it.
It's always given me infinite "failed to log in" boot loops.

Probabaly for the best anyways...

It appears that nearly every 'G1' design of a character who was in CW is either a direct port of their CW toy or a slight variation. Prime has the wheels behind the plates attached to his forearms and Shockwave literally is just the Legends toy.
