So yeah, this happened to my mpm Prime earlier this week:



Not sure if I can even fix it and still make it transform. So here, have a "cross section" of mpm Prime truck mode (I took out the entire chest piece to try to fix it).

 

How'd that happen??

The shoulders can be tabbed in tightly. However the smokestacks and the backpack's tabs are not very tight.

 

Oh boy oh boy, you havent even begim to hear abojt some of them problems. Most recent would be mp-36 and theres the chrome basically rusting on ironhide ratchet and hot rod. And paint flaking on ratchet

 

Once you get him in alt. mode does everything feel secure? Does the figure seem to be under tension?

 

The alt mode is fine, not under tension.

Excuse me? I haven't ever spoken a peep on these forums about any other MP figure besides MPM-3. And I haven't even been bashing MPM-4.

You said "on an MP figure that is unacceptable." What were you referring to? You said it like mp figures have always been amazing and very well done and this one in comparison falls short, when in fact the mp line has had plenty of pretty bad figures. This one isn't even almost the worst.

Im torn. On the one hand I have the Hasbro one un-opened, but the more I see Takara's version, the more Im tempted to sell Hasbro's MPM04 now. HELP!

 

I mean that a piece breaking off like that is unacceptable on an MP figure. I wouldn't buy a figure that's $200+ if that's an issue, would you?

 

No I would not buy that. However, its the "on an MP figure" part that's bothering me. You say it like this is the first mp figure to have this kind of problem when in fact its not.

And where are you that this guy costs more than $200? Sucks for you dude.

 

I'm in Canada. I don't know about most other MPs, I only have MP01, MP10, OG MP Starscream, updated MP Thundercracker and MP Grimlock. None of them have issues. If I bought an MP and it broke like that I'd be furious.
