Fantastic - been to a couple TRUs already with no luck. hopefully he shows up online at some point. Guessing if street date holds, it will be sometime in November.

 

Did you ask anyone at customer service to check the area?

 

I pass a TRU on my way to work and I have been checking weekly since news dropped that he was out. I finally found him Wednesday. I bought two no problem with no mention of a street date. The only odd thing was that the sticker on the shelf was still using the Saturn code name. He is also now up on the TRU website so that should really help you track him down. Not sure how available he will be overall. Its Hard to guess how long a run these are getting but seems safe to say the street date has been lifted.

 

I haven't painted the eyes, but did take the head apart. Yes, the eye section is its own piece. One screw on the side holds everything together.

 

Do we know if the Takara version is at all different?

 

Mine still hasn't arrived  

 

minor differences like smoke grey clear plastic for the eyes..

 

Is there a full list of differences or a review out there? Trying to understand that myself.
