You know, I keep forgetting how much I absolutely LOVE Sentinel's transformation. It's supremely complex and thoroughly satisfying. In fact, I kinda enjoy the transformation more than ROTF Prime's. Like, it's kinda on the same level as the MPM.

Interestingly enough, looking at all the truck kibble on the MPM, I think that the problem with the proportions stem from the inner robot being too small. If we take the truck kibble to be clothes, we need a bigger person to wear them to solve all the proportion issues. Redistribute the mass and utilize the space behind the windshield. As is, it's completely wasted space.

Alright, now this is stuff I can get behind. New pictures are always a plus.

That being said, I love Sentinel! But my copy has a busted right shoulder clip so it doesn't lock in. Ugh, it's just a tiny piece. I wish I could somehow get a replacement via Shapeways or something.

So the truck can be even smaller with the same size robot mode?

Because not everybody shares the same opinion. I think I like the Takara version better as a 2007 Prime due to the lighter heroic feel. And the Has ver as a ROTF darker version.

After looking at Takara's, I'm with Team Hasbro. Same unpainted rear thighs/underside of arms, only 10 times more obvious because of the lighter grey plastic...urgh.

That aside, WeiJiang's Evasion Op's weapons looks great on him! (minor shavings needed to fit the hand slots)`

I've made a video to show the final steps of the transformation from the robot mode to the truck mode.

Yes, I pushed both the front and the back of the truck to get the legs and the upper section together tightly.
I've made a YouTube video to show how I did it.

Question - I have the Takara Prime on pre-order and I plan to do some painting of a few of the unfinished areas. Anyone found out yet what color Testor paint best matches the Red and the Blue on MPM-04? I want to paint the underside of the forearms read and the use the blue to finish the stripe on the back of the legs and the couple on the biceps.

We need an MPM Sentinel to match MPM-4's articulation.

I've always had much more difficulty with Sentinel's transformation. Getting the arms tabbed into the legs right in order to have all the panels sit flush is really frustrating.

The secret is to rotate the forearms to the correct angle before even placing them in the legs. (^.^)

Oh, anyone, actually, especially if people have more footage/photos of Takara MPM-4.

I apologize for my vague post, I typed that just before going to sleep last night.

I'm bookmarking this for reference once my Takara MPM-4 arrives! Thank you for making an instructional video.

So today I went out to my local toysrus in Ottawa and was able to find 2 mpm 3 bumblebees and an mp 10 Optimus! I asked the guy in charge of the gaming department (since he has all the high priced toys including masterpieces) if he had heard about receiving mpm 4 and he told me he wasn\'t aware that they\'d be getting him, only that he had some mpm bumblebees. A little off topic but also, turns out the box of which mp 10 was packaged in fell while they were unloading, so now I have a damaged packaging and maybe figure? Does anyone know if the hole in his crotch under the yellow plastic is a mold in thing or if it\'s damaged? It looks a little too clean to be broken to me.

If you're referring to the hole under the yellow transparent plastic in the central section of MP10's pelvis section(your image isn't showing for me), it is not a sign of damage, it is a part of the toy's mold.

Bending those legs seems to play a key part too
