Not that sure about qc improvement, but tight ratchet and joints besides the tab for right shoulder . All I did was follow the sequence of the transformation and squeezed the TOP half of the cab before connecting it to the bottom and everything tabbed in okish~.
Pardon if you see any mistakes , its early Sunday morning atm and I'm doing it from memory .

Sliding hip joint is probably what's messing everyone up.

Of course the problems the manufacturer not the user. You see it all the time on the 3p boards.

The way you need to pose the feet to get him to stand is not very intuitive. But you can see it in Actar's pics, the way he has Sentinel's feet positioned. I'm attaching a pic of how I position his feet to get him to stand best.

Darn. I saw one review on YouTube (Japanese, I believe) that did the face mod for Optimus to bring it higher. Can't for the life of me find it now... (^.^')

quick question, did you push the back of the truck together too? I've found that it's always the back that, when tabbed together, pushes the front of the cab and forces the tabs out of place.

Do you mean the way the legs can move "taller" and "shorter" at the hips? mine are pushed all the way up/back and still has issues....

Yup! That's right. Did a Sentinel photoshoot awhile back and you can indeed get him in some phenomenal poses.

Anyone can give shots of the peterbilt truck?
I'm trying to figure how part of the cab and the hitch can become the legs and still using the front tires >.<

I agree with actar (the first time) that you can use the cab as the legs, so, there won't be backpack and the transformation would be somewhat accurate, and BOOM, you kill two birds with one shot.

Every on-screen transformation that shows that part just has the front tires sliding down past the rest of the truck to end up at the ankles. It's got to be the most cheatsy part of Prime's transformation. The best example of this is his transformation after Sentinel attacks the NEST base in DOTM.
