He's just waiting for his other buddies to show up! I'm trying to decide if i should put a Decepticon logo on him right now, or wait for a reprolables set. Why not both maybe?

 

Go for it and slap on that logo! You can always remove it later when a repro set comes around

What is that blue piece in the front of wind blade in alt mode supposed to be? What would that be in a real one? Is it where the radar array goes? Looks a bit out of place to me?

 

That's what I think it's supposed to be. Not sure what the real world counterpart looks like though. I'm sure is reprolables or someone does a set for these bots they can probably add some detail.

Did anyone get theirs from ages 3+? Sometimes their website is outdated so I'm not sure if it's in stock

 

Blast off has arrived finally!

 

Just got blastoff and transformed him to alt mode. Not really feeling good about him at the moment. Lots of small panel connectors that seem easily breakable and the plastic swirls in the brown are everywhere, looks pretty bad with light on it.

 

I just got mine and I really like him. He does have a lot of panels, bit his Shuttle mode cleans up nicely. I personally like the swords in the plastic. It gives it a metallic look. I unfortunately have a dark black piece in one of my side panels. Links like a stray piece of black melted in. Other than that, this hit feels solid and sturdy.

If you want a Bruticus this is a great figure for $60. I have paid a lot more for figures that are not half this good. X-transbots wheeler for instance. blastoff is big and solid.

 

If anyone is ordering from ages three and up, they said they are receiving theirs within a week. My order will arrive on august 30th, so if there's anything you would like me to tough upon, I'll check it out. Also I have an idea on how to make his legs less beefy, but I need to have it in hand first to test it out.

 

Yeah 60.00 is a good price, and the joints are solid, but the panel and panel connections seem like they will stress after multiple transforms. Especially the top tail fin and cock pit pieces. He will stay in combine mode so it's not much an issue for me. Want to see the whole color scheme before I get too deep in this set. Combine mode is really cool.

 

Finally! Someone puts constructor's hands on him. I guess that means if you get another pair of Armageddon hands, you can use it on constructor

 

No they don't fit, it's not the same connections. I just have it wedged in for looks
