Yeah, did that with CW Blast off, too. Liked the faceplated head much better. Maybe I'll eventually get it and paint or replace the head.

 

Tfsource is taking FOREVER

 

Vortex should come out this week i believe. What I'm curious about is if we're gonna see more images of Brawl since he's scheduled for September-ish release. Maybe some more of Onslaught or Swindle too? But I guess all the stuff we saw for Blastoff and Vortex were just to build up hype.

 

For tfsource that probably means next year

 

I hope this set is done by the end of the year!

 

I think if we're lucky, we will get three before year end and likely swindle and onslaught by next May.

I think that's their way of saying they can't 100% guarantee you will have help if your figure has bad QC. I've seen weibo pics and Chinese reviews where the figures look just fine, like what some of the members here have posted.

I feel like we entered a time warp and went back a dozen pages or so to the first time the thread discussed the region codes ZT announced.

...I have a love/hate relationship with technology. Sure, it does nifty things, but it sure makes people incredibly stupid.

 

Or, you know, people who haven't discussed them before (such as myself) are only learning about them now or just getting around to talking about them now (especially since there is supposedly more news on that front). Not everyone reads every post of every thread, especially when they're over a hundred pages long (or, in some cases, close to a thousand pages long or perhaps more).

 

Plus, we did learn some new info. I didn't know that TCSource and GCItoys were under suspicion of not following Zeta's policy.

Yeah, and that's concerning for various reasons. I haven't followed the code thing closely but it bothers me a bit. I get that for Zeta Toys, it's a good idea, but it seems rather anti-consumer.

I mean, if this was an official Hasbro product and you only got a code if you bought a brand-new product that wasn't a KO or whatever, then fine, but this seems more like "screw you, buy from who we tell you to or you won't get replacement parts if we screwed up on our QC". It's almost like victim-blaming. That being said, they're still cheaper than UT's limbs, so... It's a give-and-take, I suppose.

 

The concept around what ZT is doing was discussed at length but the names are new info. TFSource, somewhat surprised. The other shop not so much.

 

Yeah, it's been discussed to death. Like everything else, it's rinse and repeat.

Not sure why one would worry about buying from a reputable(not necessarily authorized)seller. If there is a problem, TFS will take care of you. Worse case is you will get your money. For me I don't care what the relationhip is between zeta and TFS, as long as TFS provides post sales support, which they always have in the past for me. If here is something they can't resolve they also offered a refund.
