Well the people did choose Primal, I would have loved Star Saber or Deathsaurus for many reasons, but they didn't win. However, part of why those generations beast wars toys failed is because that show hadn't been on the air for 15 some years and most kids were like "robots that turn into bugs and rats? no thanks" that show is what made BW succeed as much as it did. As for the over saturation of Primal and BW? Yeah, that's probably coming knowing Hasbro.

What's with everyone saying Primal didn't actually win? What is this?

People are morons and think beast wars is a failure that couldn't possibly win anything legitimately

It's also worth considering that PotP is going to introduce *more* Combiners. Takara could either continue Unite Warriors under a new story, or just make a new subline altogether to accommodate the various sets. Who knows if by then, they have a plan for what would make a solid Leokaiser torso.

Edit... also just checked the site. Price is back to 130. =(

I wish I had seen some of these deals when they were going on, been waiting for a sub $100 Liokiaser.
I hope we get some kind of confirmation soon (Hascon around the corner) on the combining aspect of these figures or if they just retain the (awesome) gimmick being based and retooled CW figures. Otherwise, if they are, I can totally see Takara finally fitting Liokiaser, maybe with a remould Starscream instead) into their line up and maybe even Hasbro bringing over BlastOff and Nosecone like they did Groove. I would totally buy a "VS two pack" of them.

I've seen it. I don't care for it. Like most TFC product. I'd much prefer someone did the torso correctly.

Some guy has CW adapters for Hades on Shape ways. He used them to add the CW limbs to the TFC torso, looks lanky but I can deal with that. Wanted to so similar when I eventually get a CW Liokaiser.

I can't find the guy who specifically did it for his Liokiaser but A team shield has a better one if you don't mind doing a little modding. I like the look more on his anyways (other guy's stuck upwards too much).

There's this guy too, his looked similar to the OG guy's version.

Yeah! Hades was the last one to use them, they seem to have moved onto a stronger connector (kind of like what MMC/UT/everyone) uses now.

Images clearly showed Starscream sporting Combiner Wars ports, the DreadWing duo are Aerialbot retools, Jazz sports a CW port in his chest, being a very heavy carbot retool, and the leak shows Dinobots, Terrorcons and even Predacons in the lineup. Power of the Primes ought to have a Nexus Prime mini-fig thing to go with whoever winds up being empowered with his power of Combination. We'll have to wait for Hascon or NYCC for more, I suppose.

Where are the ports on Starscream? If the leaks are true then he probably has them, but I couldn't see any.

I don't see anything like that, or even how he can become a torso but I totally could be looking at the wrong things. He's definitely chunky enough to house a combiner head though.

Yea, anything more than that for this guy is not worth it, IMO.

I completely agree that they are two different markets. I wasn't mentioning on the market I was just responding to him saying how he wanted a 3rd party Liokaiser.

I'd really like to see some 3rd party make an add on to lock the rear legs in torso mode.
