I'm open minded please post the image that you think is Steelbane but if you are saying that this is NOT Steelbane based on a 2 points of difference than I don't think you know how this works, the box art itself has more than 2 differences from the toy so based on your logic, whats that say? look at Skullitron, the toy looks nothing like the CGI movie character besides the face, look at all the others, they all have difference, you must understand how films and toys work, they work via multiple concepts and easiest design, you cant make a solid toy look 100% like the FINAL concept within budget. Look at the Steelbane box art, does it look EXACTLY like the toy? No why? Multiple reasons. Is the Stormreign toy red? No, why? Multiple reasons, mostly because they have to do what's best for the toy form and it's cohesiveness etc. I worked with many others on this project, we captured pictures of all the Knights and used IR software to aid us, I lead the charge, if you look at the Hound concept art you'll see why the toy and final film version are different. As I said initially thought, if you have images of who you think Steelbane is please post them. Thank you. FB_IMG_1501900115205.jpg FB_IMG_1501113977036.jpg

That guy isn't Steelbane, this guy is:

    This guy...

...is the knight that gives Cade the Talisman (though without the green corrosion from the final film), whose helmet is basically the same as Dragonicus's but with a big scar across it.

Did you read my comments above? Look at your own image and look at the face, as I said above many knights share the same body but different face, his body looks very much like Steelbane, read my words, but his helm is NOT like Steelbanes, not even close, it's a T visor

Yeah you were right there but not true. Steelbane does not exist in the movie, at least not completely. His body is there and is shared with others but the head design is not in the movie. The toy was made based on this guy in the middle:

But the closest thing we got is this guy right there, who shares the same head design with the red knight. Case closed. i hope

As I stated before, I and my team have reviewed all images including that one, how can you even resoably present it without a clear up close face shot? I have zoomed in and that's a T visor. The Knights most distinguished factors are the faces.

The Celtic cross guy's helmet isn't a match for Steelbane either, and my guy at least has a matching body. Given that my guy and Steelbane's helmets do both have the pointy spike on top, I suspect it's just a case of things being changed slightly between concept art (which the toy will have been based on) and the final CG model for the film.

As Red Goblin has pointed out, Steelbane is not in the final movie. Lots of guys look similar, but none similar enough to be him.

Did you read my post on Hound? I don't think on you are reading my comments in full, SB is in the film, we've matched him, like I said multiple times, look at the box art, look at the toy, they don't match, the CGI image is CGI NOT a toy, a toy can't match that exactly on a small toy budget and also toy concepts must be changed from film concepts to meet the toy maker needs, does any toy look exactly like on screen model? No. There are limits.

Read my post above, your statements are not true. Steelbane concept is made, and the toy is based on him, but they just didnt use it in the movie.

Can the toy look exactly like the cgi? No. Is the toy going to have an important section of the body such as the chest or head completely redesigned for no apparent reason? No.

If you don't understand how concepts work, than you'll never hear what I'm saying. You believe that SB is NOT in the film, fine so be it. That's your choice. Good day.

That is simply because the vehicle design in the concept is not a vehicle they were able to get in real life. This is a completely different case since the entire robot body is cgi. They could have easily made the cgi look exactly like the toy and concept art. But they didn't. So its not Steelbane. None of the knights look like Steelbane so none of the knights are Steelbane. Its that simple.

FYI, it appears that there were basically four original knight concept designs: Stormreign, Dragonicus, Giant Axe Guy, and Steelbane, who Furio hasn't posted the concept for yet. You can see the four of them in the fake Bayeux Tapestry excerpt, including what's very clearly Toy Steelbane. Hasbro based their toys on these, since they don't always get final CG models early enough.

Those four concepts didn't make it to the final film unaltered: best I can tell, Steelbane's head got replaced with the one from the Stormreign art, and then they recoloured it red with some new shoulder armour for Stormreign's CG model. Axe Guy and Dragonicus made it through pretty much untouched.

Then they made some extra knights using various bits and bobs: the guy Primal Fury insists is Steelbane is actually Steelbane with a new head and Axe Guy's Celtic cross put on his chest. There's also another guy that has that same new head, Steelbane's body, and Dragonicus's shoulder-pads.

You have revealed your ignorance and that's not an insult, "they could have made the CGI look like the toy", your exact works, thwe toys and film DO NOT work that way, the toys need to be started before final production of the film otherwise the toys would be out long after the film, the concepts used by the toys are early concepts, the film has more than 1 concept for everything and they change their mind often, the toys don't have this luxury. The point is, the films don't go off the toys. The toys will never match the CGI model exactly not because "they don't want to", but because there are a lot of moving parts, the film makes many changes and the toys must adhere to certain restrictions, they must meet a criteria.

I have revealed my ignorance? Whatever dude. I'm done. I know I'm right and everyone else here knows I'm right too because they said the same things I did. Im done. I'm not gonna reply anymore. I don't want to respond to your obvious ignorance. Steelbane is not in the movie. Thats all.

Do you know what ignorance is? You displayed your ignorance with your comment about toys and CGI models, being ignorant is not an insult outright although I see that you are trying to use it that way. You are not right, I am not right, no one is right, I presented a hypothesis based on various forms of evidence and research and based on collaboration with many others in the community. The only answers are held by furio and the officials of the film. You belive what you want.
