Had to go south a couple states, but managed to Purchase 2 at the bogo 40 % off. They were on the shelf and then rang up with a street date and the cashier apologized and said these were saying they weren't supposed to be for sale yet and she would just need to get her manager. So the manager came over and I prepared myself for the street dated & fines etc speech, but the manager just typed in a code and simple as that I was able to purchase them both.
Yeah, I nabbed MPM Bee and TLK Voyager Megs over the weekend for that deal. $106 for the pair after tax. Not too horrible.
Went by my home TRU yesterday and asst mgr said they were trying to get the street date issue remedied. Went back by today and manager wasn't there, but the associates grabbed a box for me and scanned it and no more street date, they were able to ring me up with no override. So seems like the issue is resolved.
sweet, went to my tru and found two more mpm primes, the same store i bought mines last week. i guess the street date is gone; so i'll take advantage of this tomorrow so i can exchange my prime with the missing piece and get a complete one.
Bought mine last week with my boys. TRU in Lima, PA (Granite Run). Two on the shelf and picked up Trypticon. Cashier told me the street date but she sold it to me anyway and I got it for 60 with the BOGO 40% deal. Also have one I got from ToyDojo so that one stays sealed away. Excellent figure.
Well today is November 1st. Checked 5 TRUs here in Cali and none have received it. Anyone have any luck finding one today?
