All the other PX Dinos, btw, are open for preorders on BBTS. Vulcan was too, but he sold out super-fast.

 

With the announcement of the PotP Dinobots, it's not that surprising. I doubt they will hold a candle to Planet X's Dinobots, but to each their own ...

 

It's actually kind of hard to justify getting this when Hasbro is releasing their own dinobots. Just got a house and not everything I want is going to be bought.

They were pretty blurry but had me intrigued enough. The Dinobots appear to be a combiner team for this line. Voyager Grimlock, deluxe everyone else. Plenty of complaints from fans about "every Dinobot needs to be voyager or bigger!" Which I get but Idk why anyone would ever think hasbro would want to fill an entire line with similar colored dinosaurs with similar names in the same size class. Doesn't look good to retailers.

 

The POTP Dinobots are coming and will be able to combine, much like in CW.

 

If anyone has photos of the leak saved, I'm really curious what they look like. Are they also FoC styled?

 

Do not agree. As much as many will flock towards HasTak's PotP Dinobots, they will not fill the FoC aesthetic from which PX's figs are famously gorgeous for (and several consumers desire).

Extremely doubtful considering how quickly HasTak jumped ship from the FoC/WfC theme a few years ago.

I don't need metallic colors, but if they did the FoC Dinobots in Diaclone colors I'd be totally down for that. Considering how they differ to varying degrees to their normal colors (see FansToys), I get why they don't do that.

Wonderful, just got a house and am currently doubled up on payments on it and my apartment. It's current release date is well after I'll be done but I had to be sure. I'll just put it on my PayPal to be super safe.

 

Now that I've seen the PotP dinos, I am... still ordering a metallic Vulcan.

 

I'm still hoping for upscaled KOs of the entire team.
