So! I tried to transform him last night, and wow do the instructions mean NOTHING. Anyone else have trouble pegging the wings down in alt mode? Also, any difficulties with getting the legs to align on the side of the Jet? Everything else seems to stay fine, but I'm having difficulty keeping the legs and wings pegged down.

 

@Gligamesh51 The instructions worked well for me....anyway, keep the wings folded up and away from the legs, line up the legs and make sure theyve pegged evenly to each side of the arm/back jet engine which doubles as a chaingun in bot mode. Once they are pegged into the arm, they should be clicked into each side of the main body. Then you can bring the wings down and put them in place. Does that make sense?

 

Gotcha. Yeah maybe my eyes are bad but the little detail in the instructions is painful to see lol.

Ok so I got his left side leg pegged in fine (if you're hiding him nosecone up) but the right side, I'm having trouble with. Left wing ok, right wing, no go so far. I'll keep fiddling with it. I can't see to get the right leg pegged again the body.

 

Again, its best to
Leave the wings up until boths legs are locked and clipped in proper. Bringing down the wings should be the very last thing you do.

 

Got this guy this morning, great figure this far! Didn't realize it when I ordered it, got it off eBay, but he has two left feet! Didn't read the information correctly lol.

That's me lol. Great figure and the foot doesn't actually get in the way too much so it isn't much of an issue.

 

My friend who knows a ton about military vehicles and whatnot loves to come over and see my collection, and then try to pin what real world vehicle it was based on. He believes Nitro Zeus pulls from a few different vehicles, but mostly is based on this:

But I think the movie model he turned into a more modern fighter.

 

Maybe it's just my copy of this figure, but the head is loose and won't stay in(I have pushed it down a few times to get it to click into place and it will, but won't stay in place). Also the wings and thrusters want to pop off every time you look at them the wrong way. Sigh.

 

@feral prime Ive noticed that the early copy i obtained was looser, and a nitro i bought a few days ago was alot more solid. Idk if its an early qc issue?

 

I'll grab another and see if its is better when I come across another.

 

I might turn my extra Nitro Zeus into a new character: Necro Zeus. The TR Trypticon Necro titan master head looks to be sized appropriately. Add some purple/silver Decepticon emblems from Reprolabels.

 

We need more pictures of Nitro with various heads.

Definitely need to see Clobber, Ptero, Apeface, and Shuffler.
