Despite my personal preference for RiD and Movie figures over generations, I will admit that you are correct. The history of generations exclusives is there. And fans are more likely to go after a generations exclusive than an RiD or maybe a TLK one.

Plus RiD doesn't have a deluxe class since they call them Warrior class figures.
Though I am now picturing a Fracture remould, oh well.

Looks like this is tied to the deluxes line in general. On hand of 5 and has sales history already. So they'd almost have to put it on a TR card at least to match.

 

If it is a limb I'll try to limit myself to two. Then I will hope for a Junkion repaint later.

Given the timing this'd most likely come out, i bet this ends up being a Groove remold in PotP packaging, supporting Wave 1/2 like Brainstorm did TR.

Likely. But which torso will people use? The redundant Scattershot? Or Prime? Basically you got 4 limbless torso bots. Prime, "hasbro got the white one", Skylynx, Scattershot and Cyclonus. Soon if that rumor is true might have Inferno as well.

 

Depends on the colors, honestly. If it's sufficiently garish, I might lean towards putting them on Toxitron/Wreckage or tracking down a G2 torso. If Wreck-gar leans orange and someone makes a Fire Chief kit for PotP Inferno, maybe that wouldn't be too bad? Otherwise, I'll just leave them as figures that hang out with the other Junkions.

 

Yeah, that's what I'm worried about with this guy. Not so much CW fans, but Junkion army builders. Doubly so if they can ride themselves.

 

As both a CW and Junkion fan (and someone that lives in the same metro area as you), I can promise I won't buy more than 4. Unless they look really dope and/or someone announces replacement heads.

 

Well if that's the case go ahead and buy 5. I'll swing by and grab the spare.  

Honestly I'm not too worried. Brainstorm seemed to hit saturation and stick around for a while after that. Even after scalpers had their way.

I also drive by three Walgreens on my way to work, so opportunities will be ample.

 

Exclusives aren't part of any "wave"...

 

Yes, but people have been speculating that when Hasbro said "no new toys for Wave 6 besides Slugslinger" they only meant "new" from the perspective of when Slugslinger is released. Meaning all exclusive figures that are out when Slugslinger hits could be rereleased alongside him.

 

The Arcee/Magnus pack is hardly something they could pack in a wave. It's very unlikely they'd make regular packaging for Arcee. I'm fairly certain when they said it would be available later, they meant the same package and price and everything.

 

I really enjoyed combiner wars, i have all the regulars and the takara computron set. What it seems like now with a possible wreckgar limb and the jazz mold as well as inferno, that we simply get non affiliated bots.
Though im wondering how inferno with the legends wreckgar chest and wreckgar limbs will look.

Tbh if they did Grapple i think hed as a construction vehicle and yellow collor look awesome. With the brown yellow limbs. And the wreckgar chest piece.
Grapple is easily done by simply replacing the ladder for a crane.

It just hit me that 2 possible bots we never had in cw that seems more possible now, Grapple from inferno/hotspot and a hoist from trailbreaker.
If theywould use the cw molds those 2 along with wreckgar are good options.

Im also wondering this. They might do a rerun for legends Wreckgar. If they release Inferno and who knows a Grapple.
The cw Wreckgar being exclusive, then in the regular line we get a generic junkion.
That would seriously max out mold use. And cover some of the investment on the plentiful new molds.
