I'm actually relieved it's so expensive -- I can easily ignore it since it's outside of my acceptable price range...

Shame it's non-transforming. Great sculpt though.

Whats the official size on this guy? Its expensive as hell but perhaps, the size of the figure justifies it

Gonna have to pass. Price is just way way too much for the size. Good luck to those who purchase it.

    If Drift is $290, then Tarn\'ll be $300-$320. >.<
So much for my hopes of getting Tarn.

No need to spend $300.00 for a super accurate figure that looked like he stepped off the page :D

Yikes, that price...I'm perfectly happy with my generations Drift. Now, if it was a MTMTE/LL Drift, and was taller, I'd definitely consider since I have yet to see a 3P come out with one.

I mean he's only 0.3 mm taller than sxs hot flame, and he's made of a lot of diecast I think? I remember seeing this guy at tfcon, the finish looked beautiful with the right height. I think if I want to have my s1 mtmte characters, I gotta go the nick roche design, which his designs are much smoother and less articulated than milne's art. Mmc seems to go for s2 design and I seem to like the more s1 route. I know I can buy ft's omega supreme for $50 more, but this seems to be more of a mp-36 purchase, I'll buy it because it has beautiful paint apps, with led's in it and relvotech type of articulation, and HE HAS LOSTSO DIECAST!! I might not consider the tarn statue, since I do find kultur to be a walking masterpiece who won't shut up on how easy his transformation.

< Looks over at her Takara United Drift and SG Drift >

Yup, I'm good. I don't need to spend 300 dollars on an eight inch gundam Drift.

Hey Takara, I wouldn't mind an IDW inspired MP Drift. Hell, I wouldn't mind an MPM Drift either.

I didn't mind the lack of transformation. I didn't mind the scale.

But that pricetag. OH VECTOR SIGMA, WHY?!

...Seriously. My Kidlogic Bumblebee has multiple colour-switching LEDs, interchangable parts and faces, sound effects, tons of accessories, and cost me under $100. At full retail he's under $200. Even with all the fancy features, there's no way Drift is worth that much. I'm still tempted; MMC is taking so long and we barely have any colour photos. I actually like his faces and aesthetic better than MMC Beta. But it's hard to justify when that money could buy an entire 3P Overlord.

The price is a deal breaker. MMC is releasing Beta soon, who not only transforms, but also has the IDW aesthetics. He probably will go for 90$ or so. This FT drift is beautiful, but the price is too much.

Kultur is nice 'n' all but i want an official Tarn that won't cost me an arm and a leg. (Although, after checking; Kultur is $119.99 on BBTS which is £91.64 according to Google but that's before shipping which will probably be £20-£30 therefore putting him back up to the same price as in the US)
I only get £100 a fortnight and i'd rather spend that on 4-5 HG Gundam kits than wait 2 weeks for my next payment to get a single figure.
It's why i don't own many 3P TF figures and with Brexit they're only going to get more expensive to import.
Even Hasbro's offerings are hiking up the prices; Deluxes were £10 before CW/AOE, now they're £25 according to the latest Argos catalogue! It's ridiculous! Lackluster quality for over twice the price!
The same goes for the Megazords in recent Power Rangers toylines (Samurai-onwards) where the US figures are borderline Knock-Offs of the Japanese releases.
The Lion Fortress Zord is £120 at Argos and i can get the significantly better quality Japanese version on Amazon, eBay or BBTS for around the same price or slightly more. Granted, Lion Ha-Oh is a bad example as it's just a humongus expensive Brick that's sole purpose is for another Megazord to sit/stand in it ala Titanus from MMPR so i have little space/need for it.
The space/price problem is also why i have none of the three Titan Class figures. (outside of the other problems they have: Too lanky/not the FOC design/big for big-ness' sake for Metroplex, 'Plex in Fort Max cosplay/Encore is better for Fortress Maximus and Floppy chest-door/scary hip-joints/might as well get the Platinum Edition for Trypticon.)

MMC Carnifex is $185 on TFSource:
    Mastermind Creations - R-17 - Carnifex
So yeah, Carnifex/Overlord is much more worth that price range.

You could literally get Carnifex AND Beta for the price of one of these. :D

The preorders are up at the US stores. Does anyone know if this will be available through Japanese retailers?
