I'm pretty much on the verge of giving up the hunt and just ordering. Good on the rest of you guys for finding new stuff, but every place I've been to or called is bone dry. The stores near me still only have some of the original TR waves. The East Coast is just not getting any love from Transformers.

 

It is shitty. I am trying to take deep breaths and not overpay for an Octane online lol. Where are you and what are you looking for?

 

Would appreciate notice of any Seasprays. Other than the Titans, that is all I need to catch up.

 

Cumming GA. I'm looking for several kings actually. I'm looking for a TR Windblade, a TLK Leader Megatron and Steelbane. I know some people say Steelbane is a bad toy, but I'm a sucker for Dragon formers.

 

Yeah, I've scoured most of the stores in Atlanta and the Metro-south. No sign of any of wave 5 deluxes or legends. Though, I did see a Blitzwing in Peachtree City tucked away on one of the end caps.

Yeah its been pretty slim pickings for last few months for me. When I have time to go out hunting there is never much of anything left on the pegs. The scalpers just buy anything that is not abundant just to make $5 on ebay reselling it.

 

North point tru= 1 trypticon, 1 rid menasor, 5 Velocitron sets, and many tru exclusive tlk skullitrons and megatrons. Also saw charger? Dragonstorm=$79.99.

Nope but they did have one six shot, and I just went back and bought trypticon.

 

Buford TRU has 4x Chaos on Velocitron sets, 1 ea of Six Shot, Sky Shadow, & Cybertron (and several Roadburn, Bee, & Brawns).

 

I should have reported that yesterday. I had been there because I called ahead asking if they had a TR Windblade and they said yes. Turned out it was RID Windblade, and the sad thing was I was very specific. Wasted 40 minutes getting their and then 40 minutes getting back, along with gas. The only good thing was getting a good look at Cybertron and the Velocitron set. Needles to say I want them, but my wallet is a higher priority right now which is why I've been a careful spender recently.

 

Darn, wish I knew about those velocitron sets in Buford earlier. I only worked a half day today and could have gone and gotten one. Bet they'll be gone by this weekend. Poo.

I ended up just giving up on finding megatron in stores and ordered him online. He popped up on amazon for the regular retail price. Here's the link.

The other Leader Megs on Amazon is priced at $89.99. Probably a scalper.

 

It's not a scalper, they simply haven't hit here yet. They'll be warming shelves eventually. If it's worth it to pay a premium on Amazon, more power to you but it's cheaper to be patient.

 

Okay. Sorry. It's not about power to me, I wouldn't have made the decision if it weren't for Amazon Prime (free shipping). It's the price it would be once it does hits the shelves, so I'm not actually wasting my TF money. What I WILL be patient for is all the other stuff. TLK stuff is cheaper at Walmart than anywhere else. Also it shouldn't be too too long before we start seeing the bigger sets at Ross and TJMaxx again. Probably a few months give or take.

 

I didn't see any Velocitron sets. :-(

 

Well, I just left TRU Lithonia and they have two Megatron tlk figs. Also $5 off transformers purchase of $25.

That's great and all, but that's more than an hour's drive. It may be a good save on the price, but not good on the gas.
