I just preordered this through bababobo on ebay used my ebay bucks and got it for 309 and got another 28.00 in ebay bucks 8).

So it took 3-4 reviews now for me to bite, but I've ordered the FT one. I could not wait anymore.
The main thing I switched back to FT is their high quality, WOW factor when I open their boxes, and high detail finish. I know 100% I'm not going to be disappointed. I also like the base mode way better than the DX9 one, especially the tank.
I would be very upset if I've waited for DX9, then choose the FT one and it's sold out.
Now the long wait begins....

I believe FT will anticipate that demand for this toy will be limited because of the high cost and space necessity, so to compensate for that they will run at around half production. So, I fully expect this to just be sold out one day soon. There will be people in here saying "where can I get this guy?? I waited too long!" within 3 weeks or so.

 

For sure sell out after Christmas 2017

 

Baba's prices keep creeping upwards slowly and he's sold out and reopened orders at least once, so I'd assume sales seem to be going ok right now.

 

This guy is costing me thousands of dollars. I had to buy him some "accessories" to the tune of the entire season 2 cast released so far

 

LoL. I'm going through something similar. I'm suddenly picking up some nice 3P legends-scale bots to display cowering before him, because I want him to feel even more "omega" than he already is.

 

Will his front tracks be fixed in final production? I feel like there never are changes when reviewers get copies. They probably needed bigger wheels or one of them to be bigger on the front tread so there isn't slack to bind up. I wouldnt care normally but since he also cant stay on track literally, it annoys me that neither works right.

Did anyone else notice how Hasbro revealed the Power of the Primes and all these characters as "matrix holders". I found it odd that Terminus has the ability to hold a matrix. I think they did that intentionally to play off the upcoming Hasbro storyline. It will be interesting what size matrix it holds and whether it corresponds to Hastak.
If true, they have an insider getting info way in advance
