    @Maz,

    I love the warmer color background you used here for your pics, vs the blue one. Nice pics

    We are so spoiled with the quantity and quality of Transformers figures out now. My inner-child can't get enough and my outer-adult can't bear to receive the credit card bill.

    Rag tag Lost Light picture. Don't care if there are 'better' versions for each character, don't care who's missing. Loved taking this pic.

    Those don't scale well together.

    Adore this pic. & I think it's in the spirit of the comic, as everyone's a bit of a misfit when you see them all together.

    Someone on Twitter said their individual relative sizes are almost representative of their stature - "Its almost like this scale represents each characters authority/presence in physical form." I love that.

    They're both Rodimus Prime but one looks amazing and the other looks like a good toy. I'm going to get both too because Rodimus is my favorite character but Calidus is a drastically better take on a Rodimus.

    I like the different iterations of characters, they highlight different emphases and attitudes. The different designs gives us the option to own the characters as we imagine them to be.

    It's like arguing which version of Batman is the definitive one. We'll intensely debate it but in the end, all the versions add to the myth.

    Thats a fantastic point and clarifies why I like Calidus so much. This is my favorite Rodimus iteration. The 86 version is cool but I love MTMTE better.

    This really shows one of the things that I most like about Transformers as a collection. You can have a specific series in mind and cherry pick characters accordingly, but you can also just pick out whichever figures you like the look of and put them together and it can still work great. They're obviously less advanced, but the G1 figures still look really cool in those pictures to me, and they can still work since millions of year old robots are going to have some big variations in appearance.

    I was not on board for this figure, but I really like how it turned out.

    LOL at Marcos pens...

    Gundam Markers are probably what you're looking for. Use of pencil (mechanical) can be also beneficial when doing panel lines.

    When he says "Marcos", my thought is he's talking about Pigma Microns, which are semi-high-end artist's ink pens. Modellers have used them for lining because of the high-quality black permanent ink that doesn't bleed and blur like Sharpies tend to do eventually.
